Chapter 9 - I've Got My Memories Back

While returning to the car, Su Yeon suddenly wanted to use the washroom. She asked Kim Jin to wait for her as she wanted to use the washroom. They both entered the café, Su Yeon went to the washroom and Kim Jin sat on the empty table, waiting for her.

When she came out, she saw a tall figure at the entrance. She was surprised! "Isn't he..." she thought but suddenly that person held his head and sat at the nearest table. She panicked and quickly went near him.

"Mr. Secretary, are you alright? What happened?" Su Yeon asked that person. "Do you know him?" Kim Jin asked. "Yes, he is the secretary of our Professor," she told him but her eyes never left the person in front of her. She offered him water but he rejected.

He looked at her and said, "Thank you for your concern Miss, I am alright." Even if his face was aloof, his eyes were saying different. Those eyes were happy as well as lost. He bowed to her and left.

Kim Jin and Su Yeon both were equally startled! Exactly what happened just now? and why did he bow?

Kim Jin asked, "Was that person your relative?" Su Yeon shook her head and had a confused expression. He said, "It's just that you were way more concerned for a stranger. I mean I was concerned too but your concern felt like he is someone close to you, even your eyes are red!"

Su Yeon realized what she felt just a moment ago and was surprised. Indeed! Why was she so bothered by a stranger? Her eyes became moist too! And the most important thing, why he looked so sad even if he seemed happy that she was concerned about him. Does he know her?

While returning home, Jin observed that Su Yeon was still thinking about that scene. Surprisingly this time, he didn't feel jealous of that man.

Su Yeon asked, "Jin, can you tell me how that scene looked from the third person's point of view?" Jin replied, " You both seem close to each other. One more thing, he was happy when you showed concern, but he was sad as if he just discovered something…"

Su Yeon was satisfied with his answer because she also thought the same, just wanted to confirm. She clearly saw a drop of tear at the corner of his eye. Was it because of pain? Or maybe because of his thoughts?

Kim Jin dropped her at her home. She happily bid farewell to him and they both went their ways.

Apart from those incidents with Mr. Secretary, everything went well. Such a long day! So many things happened today. Ahh! She forgot to ask Prof. Song about that doctor. She decided to ask him later.

After taking a warm bath, she came out and checked her phone. There was a message on their 'We-3' group. They were planning to do a night out today. It decided to meet at 9 pm at Min Seong's house and were waiting for Su Yeon's reply.

When she came out to ask permission, she got to know that even her parents had to go to the hospital to see a friend, so they gave her permission. She came into her room started to prepare for night out.

...

At the other end of the city, Mr. Secretary came in front of a big mansion. He was happy, sad, and confused. The guards at the gate saw him and were shocked. Their expressionless and strict boss was actually crying. Even a single drop of tear from his eyes was enough for them to consider it as crying.

They bowed to him and when he was about to enter, his phone rang. He picked up, "Master,"

The other side said, "Where are you? Have you done with your work?" he replied, "Yes master, everything is done. Master, I have to tell you something... it's important." That man said, "Hmm, I was expecting it. Don't go to the main mansion, come to the Sky Lounge." "Yes master," by saying this he hung up the phone.

Master also kept his phone in his pocket and continued to stare at the small back of a person who was going far away. "If she is not her, then she would not have shown concern to my secretary and that doctor. They both were very close to her. Also, that handsome guy... she still loves him, but I wonder, our secretary must have done something to him."

Even if that man was smiling, his eyes were sad. He went inside the lounge and took a private room.

Mr. Secretary drove to the Sky Lounge. It was low key lounge but offer good quality of privacy and service. He entered the room and saw a man who was drinking and busy in his own thoughts.

"Master," he called him. Prof. Song looked up at him. His sad eyes were carrying a hint of hope. "Ahh, Gon ah, you came. Sit here and let's have a drink."

Mr. Secretary aka Gon said, "Master, please refrain from drinking. I want to tell you something important…"

Prof. Song interrupted him, "She asked me about him today. She was concerned for him even if this time they are not related to each other, the relation between them is still the same." Gon asked, "What happened, master?"

Prof. Song narrated the whole thing that happened a few minutes ago.

.

Prof. Song decided to come here to Sky Lounge as he was feeling lonely today. He couldn't stop thinking about them and what grave things happened because of his mistakes. He parked his car at a bit far distance and decided to walk. While he was walking, he bumped into a familiar small figure.

"I am extremely sorry, Ohh Prof. Song!" Su Yeon said. "It's ok, what are you doing outside at this hour?" he asked worriedly. Su Yeon replied, "I am going to my friend's place for a night out... Umm if you don't mind, can I ask you something?" Su Yeon was hesitating.

Prof. Song's eyes softened; how can he dare to say no to her. "Of course, what is it?" he asked. Su Yeon continued, "Umm... Do you remember that a few days ago, at the cafe near our University... you met a doctor?" When he nodded, she added, "Can you tell me the name of that person? It's just that I thought maybe he is someone I know..."

Prof. Song replied, "Of course, he was Dr. Wang, we met while we were abroad. His name is Dr. Wang Lufan, do you know him?" Thinking about something, she said, "Ohh so he was really Brother Fan. He is the son of my father's friend. Thank you, good night!" Prof. Song smiled and nodded. Looking at the way she was speaking about him, his desire to correct past mistakes increased. He felt sad, so he called Gon to accompany him.

.

"By the way, why are you looking so complicated? You wanted to tell me something, right? What is it?" Prof. Song asked.

Gon said, "Master Miss Yoon is really our Miss. I know our Miss more than anyone else. I remember most of the things now." While saying this he was happy.

"That… But I am not sure about it. You remember what her professor said, sleeping in between the lecture? Good at strategies and business? My little dumpling was the exact opposite of it."

Gon interrupted, "But master did you observe, how she was prepared to challenge you and that sly look... When she accidentally bumped me this morning, she thought she hurt me and was asking if I am ok or not. Also, when I was following them, I got my memories back. I felt excruciating pain. At that time too, she was so concerned that she almost cried because of my pain."

Prof. Song remembered the memories of her and chuckled, "Then she must have teased you about your handsome look?" Gon nodded embarrassingly. Prof. Song laughed at his reaction. He always thinks that how his little dumpling can make this expressionless wooden block look embarrassed.

Gon said, "Master, although I remember many things, I couldn't remember Crown Prince…" "Don't use those titles here," Prof. Song reminded him.

"Sorry, I couldn't remember Young Master's face and I am sure that there is also another person... I don't know but when I got my memories, I felt sad. That feeling was so immense that it must be related to something major."

"That another person must that Tyrant! Don't remind me of him! That demon took my dumpling away from us forcefully right under my nose!" Prof. Song got angry when his topic was brought up. Gon tried to remember about him.

...

Unknown to them, there were two men in the other private room, listening to their conversation. One of them had tapped Prof. Song's phone and they were listening to them from the very beginning...
