I fell to the ground screaming in pain holding my chest. I knew it was painful. However unfortunately I did not realize just how painful it would be. God I really hope that he does not end up sleeping with her. I do not even want to consume the thought of how painful and excruciating that would even be. Kennedy comes running into the room screaming "Jozie is everything okay? I heard you screaming I got worried are you and the baby okay?" Oh just grand other then for the pain of my mate kissing that witch of an awful human being. "Just remember that you are the one who came up with the idea, and once this is all done and over with you guys will be able to go back to being a happy and healthy couple. So just keep your head held up high it will all be over before you know. Just a few more days."
I leap up to her where I grab ahold of her shirt and start instantly holding her sobbing. Okay I will admit it I am beyond frightened that she will twist him into falling for her like the wretched witch she is. That he will end up choosing her in lieu of myself. I could not handle that I love him so much I can not even imagine losing him ever. "Hey J look up here at me I promise you that is never going to happen, That man loves and adores you, nothing is ever going to change that. Not even that hideous succubus that is trying to dig her talons into him. Just wipe those tears and stay strong girl."
After Kennedy helps my miserable self up off the ground I hug her. Thank you Kenn I really do cherish you so much still to this day you are an amazingly wonderful friend. We have spent may years apart but you will always be a sister to me, I love you so much. "It is my pleasure to be your friend. You have always been the strongest woman I have ever know, and hey we will just have to make up for all the long lost years. Just know I am going to spoil my little baby once it comes out as well." Giggling slightly I tell her that I am sure she will. I truly could not have found a better friend.
I decide that I am just going to sleep nonstop till the day of all the action, but unfortunately despite all the sleep I had planned out for me Kennedy did not agree. So we had late night movie nights and sleeping in sessions, which by the way the sleeping in sessions was my favorite part of it all. It was basically one big sleep over for three days. Then that is when it was time on the fourth day. Everything had to go as planned and perfectly. There could be no messing up this or the entire thing was for nothing, and I will be damned if it ends up being for nothing.
"Hey J guess who was invited to the Luna ceremony? I can give you a guess and they are both in this room talking right now." Kennedy just rolls her eyes laughing sarcastically. Of course we are she probably wants to "rub it in my face that she is the Luna and I am not." Little does she know her time is about to be up for good. I just can not wait to picture her face when she sees me lunge at her. It will truly be a priceless moment for me. KNOC KNOCK we hear at the door and then Jacob clearing his throat. "You two ladies better be almost ready it is going to be starting soon. We can not be running late or this will not go according to plan." "Yes baby we know we are just finishing up getting dressed then we will be ready to go I promise five more minutes ten at most." "Okay well make it snappy."
"Yes, daddy we will do as you say daddy." I can not help but laugh as Kennedy says that in a sultry voice. "Do not even dare get that started now. We do not have the time to do anything of the such right now." Looking shocked at what Jacob just replied back and even more shocked at what Kenn then replied back to Jacob. "Oh! daddy we all know how quick you can make it but fine after this is all over with, I want a special reward." "My jaw is now dropped at this point. Oh, get that shocked look off your face I was just playing around." "Just shut up and get ready to leave both of you girls, Jozie make sure you wear something that you can fight easily." I know, I know Jacob. "For the love of god do not get you or my god child killed please or yourself for that matter." You can count on me.
After a few minutes later were both dressed and ready to go. "J remember you have to make this seem as real as possible. You must make sure that they do not except anything." I know Kenn I am already nervous enough; I have no clue what we will do if this does not work. We then head off to where the ceremony is going to be held. I honestly had no need to fake anything. As soon as I saw the two of them tears started flowing from my eyes. This is even harder than I thought.
I guess he ended up telling her that he wanted a small close-knit event. That he wanted only close friends and family So that way he could have the ones who are going to help if needed here without them thinking anything of it. It was honestly a really smart idea. I am just praying constantly the whole time to the moon goddess to let this work for us. "Well, well, well look what the cat dragged in. An ugly soaking wet rat. Well sweetie I hope you enjoy my Luna ceremony; you know the one that was supposed to be for you. Oh, but wait he chose me over you. I told you it would not have lasted between you too for very long. Not when he has me to pick. Well darling I have other people I have to go talk to being the new Luna and all."
Smirking she pulls me in for what looks like a hug, "by the way after this is over you will once again become a ugly homeless person. That no one will ever love and you will never have a place to call home ever again. I promise I will make sure of that. Have fun being a rouge until someone kills you sweetie." I want to rip her heart out right then and there, but I just bite my tongue and just tell her congratulations. This just needs to be over already. I am just trying to wait for the sign to act like I get up and run away because of being upset.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to show you the new Luna of the pack I feel like I have made the right decision of making my son Kaleb alpha, he will keep the pack safe for now on with a strong amazing and powerful Luna. Kaleb and Emmi please come out here now, I would like to say a few words to you guys." I swear I hate that vile man. Yes of course I know that he is Kaleb`s father but I really can not truly wait till he is dead. Then Kaleb and I can go back to our lives. I swear he was smirking at me the who time during the speech that he had made. I see Kaleb walking out holding Emmi`s hand. I want to run off the instant I saw them holding hands. However I will not chance that happing, I will not mess anything up. If this does not go to plan I have no clue what will happen then.
" Why thank you father, if you are here I want you to know that means you are extremely important to me. I would also like to tell you thank you. I want to show you that I will keep you safe and protect you no matter what. The pack is the most important thing over anything else. I want you to be proud of me as your alpha. For one to be a good alpha he must have an amazing Luna by his side. I feel like that as the alpha of this pack, the best and greatest option for the Luna position and who will stand by me for the rest of my life will be Emmi." I see the pain and hurt in his face as he is saying he speech. Please moon goddess just let this be over soon.
"Emmi darling please come here and let us both introduce ourselves as the new luna and alpha." That is my queue to get up and leave. I did not even need to try to make it seem real or realistic. The pain and tears were all completely one hundred percent real. The pain in my chest felt like it was slowly squeezing me to death. Now I just have to wait for this all to be over. It really can not be soon enough.
