When the banquet was over, King Jaren pulled Head Sage Yue, Regent Prince Yuki and Raven aside and told them that Grandmother wanted to speak with them about something.
Raven frowned. "I'll call Mana," he said. "She is the Queen of the Pearl Kingdom; she needs to know these things."
King Jaren smiled approvingly. "You can brief her later, my boy," he said, patting Raven's shoulder. "I'm afraid Jules and Mana are needed elsewhere simultaneously."
Which was true. Grandfather needed to have some 'serious talk' with Jules and Mana, which even King Jaren wasn't supposed to be privy to.
So, King Jaren left Raven, Head Sage Yue and Regent Prince Yuki with Grandmother – and, to their surprise, Haruka suddenly decided to accompany them.
Jules and Mana were pulled away by Grandfather, and Vyom went with them.
