Rei had quickly lost his shyness and integrated himself within the friend circle of Mana and Raven, and so had Aoi – although the older boy was naturally shy, especially around Regent Prince Yuki, but he wasn't quiet and withdrawn. With the addition of these two, their gatherings became livelier than usual.
"It would be good if Father could spare Cousin Yuki for a few days – then we could take him to the Emerald Kingdom and show him around IMARI as well, and he can help Aoi settle in," Mana said to Raven.
Both Regent Prince Yuki and Aoi perked up at that, and eyed Raven pleadingly.
"I'll ask him," Raven said with an indulgent smile. "But Cousin Yuki, you are more of a son to Father than I am – you can ask him directly, too."
"Why don't you two go together?" Mana suggested. "It's only for a few days anyway – just make sure to reassure him that we have no intention of abducting Cousin Yuki and keeping him in the Emerald Kingdom!"
