"Would you like to stay in the Pearl Kingdom for a bit longer?" Mana asked Raven quietly. The two children had slipped out from the banquet and went for a walk in the garden for a bit.
Raven shook his head. "We have already extended our stay once," he murmured. "We should go back and get to work on reviving your mother."
Mana sighed and took the boy's hand. "A few more days here won't make a difference," she told him. "Besides, building the machine to revive Ma will still take a long time, even after we gather all the materials we need."
Raven hesitated.
"Papa and the others are already here – I think it would be a good thing for them to take a break for a couple of days and see the changes in the Pearl Kingdom under your rule for themselves as well," she added in a coaxing voice. "It will also give you time to implement some more of your ideas."
