Raven's popularity grew even more after this encounter, especially among the common people. A lot of the nobles, since they prided themselves on being highly educated folks, actually went back to look for the concept of 'noblesse oblige' and were very impressed when they found it. Their respect for the young king grew as well.
Raven and Mana ended up paying a visit to the Lotus School after all, much to the delight of the children. The cheeky boy who had invited them was over the moon, and they finally learnt that his name was Rei.
The Headmaster himself appeared at the gate of the school to receive Raven and Mana, with over two hundred children behind him.
After the mandatory polite greetings were exchanged, Mana asked the Headmaster curiously, "How many students do you have at the moment?"
