Head Sage Yue's quarters in the Moon Temple were fairly simple and understated. There was a large hall, where they appeared, a bedroom, a study, a kitchen and a bath. The rooms were sparsely furnished and very clean. Mana thought that Head Sage Yue might be a minimalist in his living style.
It was very different from the luxurious and ostentatious furnishings of the rooms of some of the other priests of the Moon Temple, as they found out during several anti-corruption raids. It made Mana think a little better of Head Sage Yue – sanctimonious and a bit annoying though he may be, at least he was honest and free of illicit and ill-acquired wealth.
The hall became very crowded with almost thirty people in it, so Head Sage Yue hurriedly led them out to an adjacent building – it was one of the bigger halls of the Moon Temple where semi-formal gatherings were held by the Head Sage.
