"Of course I will help Raven however I can," Mana snapped. "That's a given."
Raven frowned. "Will it be dangerous for Mana?" he asked King Corvus.
The old king sighed. "It will be dangerous for both of you," he murmured. "Something like this…even I do not know everything that we need to do here."
"Just tell us what you know and we will figure out the rest," Mana said calmly. She patted Raven's shoulder in a reassuring manner. "And you, my beloved fiancé – don't even think of running around without me."
King Corvus shot her an approving glance and began to explain the workings of the barriers and how the misappropriated blood could possibly have been used to disrupt them. Mana and Raven listened carefully until he was done.
