"Father!" Crown Princess Pica suddenly burst into the cabin of King Corvus, with General Aquila trailing behind her. Her lovely face was very pale and beads of sweat dotted her brow. "Father, can you sense it, too?"
King Corvus's complexion wasn't much better than his daughter's – if anything, it was worse. He nodded, barely stifling a groan. "I can," he murmured. "Something is wrong with the barrier of the Obsidian Kingdom, Pica. Someone is trying to damage the barrier from the inside!"
General Aquila didn't look all that great, either, but he was less affected because he wasn't a direct descendant of the ruling royal family.
