After some time, Mana asked the question that had probably been plaguing everyone till now, but was temporarily forgotten in the joy of their unexpected (and unbelievable, to some extent) reunion!
"But Ma," Mana said in a soft voice. "How did you end up here?"
Queen Dora blinked and looked around the room. "I am – this is – are we in the Sapphire Kingdom right now?" she asked.
Queen Carolina nodded. Then she briefly explained how they had been attacked by a cursed living ghost corpse (without mentioning the true identity of the cursed living ghost corpse as her late husband Vir and Bella's father) a few days ago and how Mana and Raven had captured the cursed living ghost corpse, and how they just found out that the cursed living ghost corpse was gone. And that her queen pendant was left behind in the dungeons, and then they had found her here in the imperial guestroom allocated to King Jaren.
