The next morning, King Corvus announced another banquet – this time to welcome the return of General Aquila after ten long years. Cheers immediately broke out in the imperial court, and just as the guests of the previous evening's banquet had applauded the announcement of a second banquet for General Aquila.
No one had any objections. The entire Obsidian Kingdom was in a celebratory mood anyway, and King Corvus had many events and ceremonies planned for Raven and Mana for several days.
The most important one was to take the two of them to the ancestral chamber of the Obsidian Kingdom.
