(1 week later)
Hana had just walked into class when as always felt Tahara-san's eyes pierce into her back.
Ignoring her, she went over to Rin, "M-morning,".
Turning around, Rin saw her friend, "Oh, hi Sei-chan,".
Extending her arms Rin invited her to hug, Hana hesitated but in the end hugged Rin, a small smile appearing on her face.
She suddenly felt someone tap her shoulder, turning around Hana saw Hiroji standing behind her.
"Hey, Sei-chan,"
Blushing she smiled, "H-hi,"
Looking behind him, Hana saw Hirooki walking towards them.
She was about to say hello when the bell rang.
Quickly moving over to her seat, she sat down.
For the next four hours, she listened carefully to the teacher noting down the most important points.
When the bell rang Hana stood up, grabbed her food and walked over to Hiroji.
"H-hey, can you tell the others that I-I'm gonna eat alone today?"
Smiling he nodded, "Sure,"
Thanking him she exerted the classroom.
Walking up the stairs to the roof Hana removed her mask and scratched the skin underneath since it was itchy.
Just as she was about to exit onto the roof she slipped her mask back on.
Stepping out she was instantly hit by a rush of cold air.
Breathing in deeply she looked over the tops of the buildings and saw the everpresent smoke clouds of villain attacks across the city.
Sighing she moved over to a more sunny spot and sat down.
Opening her bento box she looked inside, as always it was sushi.
Taking out the chopsticks she put her hands in a praying position.
"Itadakimasu!" She exclaimed, a genuine smile on her face, food was something she always looked forward to since two years of her life were filled with the same food so she had come to appreciate delicious food.
Reaching out, Hana plucked one of the sushi rolls out of the box.
It was quite simple with salmon surrounded by rice covered with a layer of Nori.
Placing it into her mouth she chewed, it was delicious, the salmon seemed to almost melt on her tongue.
She kept on eating for a bit before she was interrupted by someone else coming onto the roof.
Looking up, Hana saw that it was the blue-haired girl, Tahara Akame.
She was about to eat another piece of sushi when the girl stopped next to her.
"Oy, you," Akame said sternly.
Flinching Hana looked up, "Y-yes,"
Akame stayed silent for a moment, Hana pretended to become more nervous.
She then spoke in a menacing voice, "Tell me, where do you live exactly?"
"W-why should I t-t-tell you?" she asked nervously.
Walking forward a bit, she made Hana shuffle back against the fence.
"Because I asked you!" she growled out.
"I-I-I live at Sh-Shinjuku 112." she stuttered out tears building up at the corners of her eyes.
Crouching down Akama looked straight into Hana's eyes and said, "Then where were you yesterday?"
Hana froze, "W-w-what d-do you m-mean?"
"Where were you yesterday evening?"
Hana's eyes flicked from one purple eye to the other, "I-I-I w-was at home."
"Oh really, then why didn't I see you there?", she asked, smirking.
"Y-y-you spied on m-me?" she asked incredulously, "Y-you're a-a stalker!"
Akame was slightly taken aback, "What? No," shaking her head a deep frown appeared on her face, "Don't change the topic, where were you last night?"
"W-w-well, it's kind of embracing," she looked down blushing and scratched the back of her head, "I sometimes get nightmares, a-and going for a walk usually helps."
Akame raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "Don't lie to me, I searched you up on the internet but found nothing, not a single trace of you?"
"W-well that's not that weird, I bet l-loads of people c-can't be found on the internet."
"Fine if you don't want to tell me then I'll just go to the police."
Hana's eyelids which were usually opened wide in wonder relaxed and dulled.
Akame, who was freaked out by the sudden change, didn't have time as Hana reached out and grabbed her tie.
Pulling her forward Hana used wood release to create a stake and held its tip against Akame's abdomen.
Akame was speechless one moment she was crouching in front of Hana asking her questions and the next she was a few inches away from the girl's face with something sharp poking her belly.
Her breathing quickened as she realised that she messed up.
Leaning closer Hana put her mouth next to Akame's ear, "You will do no such thing?"
Her voice was eerie and sent a shiver down Akame's spine.
"Y-you can't kill me, if you d-do you'll be d-discovered." she stuttered out.
"Oh, really," she chuckled, "you know, you interest me, Akame Tahara, that's the only reason why you're still alive."
Akame gulped, and her breathing quickened.
"Tell me, what is your dream?" she whispered.
"I-I want to be a Hero and save people."
Hana chuckled, "You're so naive, do you really think that you'll be able to make a change by just saving a few people and defeating a couple of villains?"
Akame nodded, "Y-yes of course, just the smallest action can save many lives."
She suddenly felt the sharp object poke her harder, "Wow, you really are so naive aren't you? The only way to create change is by making the people who cause pain feel the pain themselves.
Let me tell you a little story, once there was a little girl, she and her brother both wanted to become heroes to save peoples lives.
But their father, cruel and filled with hatred that he was, didn't allow them and when they insisted he beat and abused them.
The two children's school lives weren't any better though they were bullied and looked down upon because they were quirkless.
And then one fateful day the father took it too far and as the sister wanted to console her brother the dam finally broke and his quirk awakened.
The quirk was so powerful that it destroyed the house and the others around it.
Nobody survived except for the boy and his sister, he saved her not out of spite to his father or so she could fulfil her promise to become a hero duo but because he loved her. " Hana leaned back now and looked straight into Akame's eyes.
What Akame saw shocked her, tears, tears were running down Hana's face.
"But when he asked people to help him they pushed him away just because they thought that Heros would come. "
She then started chuckling while crying, "Do you know what's funny, it's that their grandmother was a hero but when they needed help the people did nothing.
This society is making its own villains, a society that's supposed to save lives is destroying them.
I want to end it, end it all, to stop this cycle of hatred the world must know pain"
The wild determination only increased in Hana's eyes as she pulled Akame closer into her embrace.
