Reiji is practicing his sword work with his new blades. he is done being surprised by the system. Although now he's wondering who made it. Could it have been elsha? the voice of the system or did she hijack its intended use.
To that he would have to wonder as he walks back down the stairs to the 45th floor. He believes he is ready. Taking on prion with Lilith m ay be hard due to the power difference but. he has a few aces up his sleeve.
Reiji walks down the steps with his gauntlets equipped and his swords on his waist. Orion stands there awaiting Reiji. the light surrounding him has dimmed.
"So you managed to get me with a skill. I wonder when was that boy?"
Reiji smiles somewhat "It was when you sent me flying. you used so much force you didn't realize I hit you. You were too focused on some prophecy. I will tell you something. the true Orion was a hell spawned slave driver, but he was like a second father to me."
Orion smiled " I have memories of that at least some. I didn't know how disjointed my memories were. that doesn't matter though. you need to die for the prophecy to come to pass. "
The skull on Orion chest is what is dimming his light. He stands up holding a spear getting into his battle positions. Reiji does the same the weapons clash and a explosion happens.
they clash time and again each time changing the floors landscape. Orion dashes forth stabbing the spear ultimate times. Reiji responds by hitting the spear away from himself. over and over this continues.
Orion jumps up swinging the spear down while thunder coats the spear. [battle God spear] he hits it down into the ground thunder streaming at reiji. Reiji responds activating [raging aura] and [white emperors fist.]
He shoots his energy at each arc exploding the lightning. Orion swings his spear around himself. [Sweeping aura] A giant wave of energy shoots at reiji. he runs from it but it folows him. Reiji shoots white emperor to the wall the sudden burst made the aura wave change directions. Orion smirks [void sphere]
A giant black ball with electricity coming out from the center. expands in front of him. he strikes it with his spear. A large pure black spear covered in electricity flies at reiji. then more come as he runs along the wall. Reiji shoots white emperor at him trying to hit his chest again. Orion laughs slashing his energy.
They both now stand with the area around them covered in dim light.
"So this must weaken my power considerably huh?" he says pointing at the skull.
Reiji smiles "Pur last fight you handed me my ass immediately. his smirk turns wider.
"I will again as well."
Orion tosses the spear at reiji. The latter just dodge it then rushes forward. A shocked expression forming on reijis face as Orion is right in front if him the twin blades. the same twin blades that are now on his waist.
Reiji steps forth slamming into Orion a skill he hasn't revealed yet. [Double attack][ Mountain of carnage] [desperation aura] The attack instantly layers the skull on Orion. A countdown starts as Orion is slammed into a wall.
"So you got me again tell me boy. what was this skill?"
Reiji responds with a look of pain on his face.
"It is called [death mark] once lowers your abilities. twice kills you after the time runs out."
Orion rushes him " So I just have to kill you before time runs out."
At this point the first marks ability had finished lowering. [hard to believe that was five minutes.]
[ Death mark has been placed. five minutes until enemies erasure.]
Orion swings his swords like a elegant dancer. with deadly precision his attacks get sharper and faster. Reiji uses his movements to try to stick closer to Orion. while hitting his swings half way. to counter them. Orion swords snap against liliths true weaponized form. each attack reiji landed hit harder each second.
A flashback to after Lilith explained the skill.
"Remember reiji "she says lifting her pointer finger.
"although it kills after the timer ends. it also amplifies your strength compared to their loss of abilities. the stronger they are the weaker they become. So it's good to hit them more."
Back to the present reiji is using his martial skill to hit Orion. Punch to the stomach Orion hunches back. a kick to the face Orion spins. A punch to the face Orion flies back again into the wall.
"Why?..he coughs up blood"
"Why don't you understand? the tyrant must fall for peace to rise."
Orion spits up more blood into his hand his light really dim now.
Reiji responds stomping his foot hard. pulling. a spear from the ground. "Humanity can't know peace. we are a species of war. when one enemy falls another will rise. a prophecy is an end to one. What about the next?"
[30 seconds to erasure]
Reiji throws the spear into Orion head. tears rolling down his face.
[Time ended erasing enemies]
Orion smiles as he turns to dust. leaving reiji with one last piece of advice.
"It appears my time is up. I will leave you with my advice. Do not trust the king of berg. he is but a puppet to a more evil enemy. You were right without knowing. I guess all this was for nothing bringing someone like you here we must have made the right choice." He fades with one last sentence.
"Farewell you were like a son to me as well."
Orion fades into nothingness. now his memories, and his true self have moved on. Reiji holds his arm smiling as he walks to the steps. [Healing touch]. His arm heals leaving a scar down his arm. Orion had hit him in the end right before he was sent flying. Reiji thinks as he enters the 46th floor.
"One more month I'll be cutting it close."
a ringing of noise echoes as he walks onto the 46th floor.
[congratulations you have passed your trial.]
" the next 4 floors are full of treasure or you can ask any three questions you wish to have answered."
Reiji smashes the fairy buzzing around his head.
[illusion fairy killed]

The demon laughs from all around As reiji stands there it mocks him.
"Follish mortal I am shadow demon I will control the galaxy.."
it is then destroyed by a bright light emanating from reiji. " This is stupid. taking a monster from a manga I read."
