After all of the members of the expedition finally made it down, all were able to take in the scenery that unfolded before their eyes, the soil was dry, nothing could grow from it and the area was covered in monoliths as well as small pyramids.
Still, they were no sign of anything in the area, it was as if the dungeon had tried mimicking a lost civilisation, the pyramids were mostly empty, apart from a few worthless items from time to time only dust was to be found inside of them.
It seemed most likely that the way to the next floor was hidden inside one of them, so they were going to keep on searching each and every one of the, at least they usually would.
Virtus simply went to where the greatest amount of the orange energy had gathered and he was soon able to find it, however, this time around, the way to the next floor wasn't a hatch or just a staircase.
Beating like a heart, a portal floated in the middle of the small pyramid, it pulled in the surrounding light, making the surroundings look bended and unnatural.
After some dabating and analysis of the portal by the space mage, the expedition entered it and found themselves in a most peculiar area, they were in a large open area, just like before the soil was dry but his one was dark and seemed to crack at the slightest of pressure, the only point of interest in sight was a large grey tower, seemingly made of the same basic stone bricks from the first floors.
The top of it couldn't be made out through the dark clouds that covered the sky, the stone bricks were in a pristine state, no cracks of imperfections were to be see anywhere on the tower, standing amidst this wasteland, the tower looked even more out of place.
Virtus looked up, the heretic was here and as if the heretic was responding ti his realisation, an invader showed up and immediately, the saint was able to tell this one was stronger than last few ones.
Not leaving any chances, he shot it down before it could fully materialise.
______________
Not all could do as Virtus however, the young squire had to battle each and everyone of them that appeared before him, every fight was a difficult one, the invaders kep getting stronger and smarter, forcing the squire to push past what he believe to be his limits, the more he fought the more he could feel his strength and power develop, he advanced through the dungeon fairly quickly, traversing the dark caves and defeating nameless figures, swimming through monster infected water and managing to survive by using his newfound abilities.
He would soon catch up with the expedition and be able to face the one he was meant to defeat to achieve his fate.

Meanwhile, the one everyone seemed to be after was standing at the top of the tower, surprisingly enough, this seemed to be the end of the world dungeon, before him a big sphere was floating, entangled with dark tendrils.
"Welcome, dear sibling" a voice came from the floating orb and the fire seemed to respond, this time Vlas didn't understand what it was saying.
After these first words, Vlasfimia was unable to understand what the orb said next, the fire and the orb seemed to be having a long discussion while he just stood there.
Vlasfimia looked around the large room, this was the last floor of the large tower, Vlas had had an easy time ascending it as all the monsters were afflicted with the fire, he just walked through as if he a tourist, in this room, there was a throne with a nameless figure sitting on it, it was also afflicted and seemed much stronger than any other of them.
"That is my son" suddenly spoke the orb to Vlas.
"The nameless king, king of the nameless figures" it added afterwards.
After that, it continued to speak in a dialect Vlas couldn't understand, it was very different from simply hearing a foreign language, nothing seemed to make sense to Vlasfimia ears.
On the other hand, the orb could clearly understand what the fire said and as it spoke, one thing was becoming awfully obvious to the world dungeon, a horibble fact.
It had believed that the fire would be just like itself and agree to help it even more with the dungeon, so as to get father's attention but it wasn't like itself at all, the fire must have been born without any actual personality and only a simple goal and as it had been born inside of that human, it had simply mimicked his own personality.
It was nothing more than a copy of that human!
The world dungeon had been unable to notice this fact sooner and the fire did what Vlas would have done, the orb erupted with orange flames and as it did, the whole dungeon burned, as one who had put its strength exclusively toward nurturing the dungeon, the one who controlled it burned without being able to defend itself at all.
Despite being a weakling when compared to what people thought of as when thinking of the specie it had been from, it was still considered a great being and even Vlas who had never seen the system or felt it effect very much, clearly felt the XP from this being entering his body.
"The fuck?!" he spoke out loud as he saw himself suddenly burning with the orange flame, it didn't hurt but the fire envelopped him and soon formed something akin to a cocoon.
The nameless king was still sitting in his throne, he didn't help his parent as the affliction had already gotten to him and he simply stared forward without moving.
He, as well as all of those afflicted by the fire could feel their power grow as the cocoon of flames burned brighter and brighter, holy energy was already moving as far away as possible from the area the cocoon was.
A great event was soon to occur.
