While taking a rest, the magic in my head begins; it's another storyline, this time I'm certainly writing it down. I get my tablet and let the magic flow through my fingers.
" It was a cloudy evening, a cool wind was brewing from the west, everywhere was peaceful, breezy, and calm. The trees were moving in a wavy manner and the birds were tweeting and every animal was in a joyful mood.
This was a day that had been awaited for ages, everything was finally taking place.
Candace was walking through the woods; she was a nature lover and she took solace in the woods, it was a place of peace and comfort to her.
She was heavily pregnant and the weather had begun to change gradually; she was about to skip a root when she missed her step. She managed to wedge her fall with her hands but it told on her body. She had a contraction and she sensed that she would soon be in labor; she could not turn back as she was deep into the heart of the forest. The wind was getting stronger and Candace was getting weaker by the moment.
The baby kicked and she let out a mild scream, she couldn't hold on much longer; when she got to the center of the heart of the forest, she sat at the foot of the tallest tree. She was in pains and anguish, the baby was coming out, she knew she had no choice but to but to give birth there and then.
She took deep breaths as she began to push, she used every bit of strength left in her, finally, the baby was out, sounds of shrieking cries filled the air as the baby announced its arrival. She used a splinter to cut off the umbilical cord, took off her scarf, and wrapped her baby in it. She took off the necklace she had on her and placed it around her baby's neck tucking it into the scarf.
She cradled her baby for the last time; in between slow, muffled breaths, she named her ' Anna ' and she breathed her last.
The pendant on the baby's neck shone beneath the scarf, giving off light with an unusual glow that exuded power.
Animals from all corners of the forest marched in towards the direction of the light. A fleet of birds flew in with a cotton blanket suspended between their beaks, they dropped it for the monkey who used it to wrap the baby and the eagle used its talons to lift the baby and placed it on the deer's back.
The birds, eagle, and the deer journeyed to the edge of the forest, it was time for the deer to return. The eagle took off with the baby gripped tightly between its talons along with the birds, they moved swiftly to be in time at the preplanned destination.
When they got to the street, the birds flew back, leaving the eagle behind. The eagle flew on towards the home of a childless aged couple, dropped the baby on the front porch, and rang the doorbell. He flew over to a nearby tree and perched there, watching to see the outcome.
Miriam heard the doorbell ring, she wasn't expecting anybody, she rose from her rocking chair to answer the doorbell. She opened the door but couldn't see anyone, as she turned to go in, her eyes caught sight of the little figure wrapped in a cotton blanket. Though it was an unusual occurrence, she took the baby indoors.
When her Mark, her husband, had returned, she broke the news to him. They decided to keep the baby, it was a joyous moment for both of them. Miriam named her Alyssa.
Miriam ensured that Alyssa never lacked, she provided all her needs and cared for her.
Orq, the eagle never ceased to keep watch over Alyssa, it was his mission to guard her and train her until his time to go came. "
