I told you to get out!
Gwin sat in her room across from the stairs with her door shut, she could hear a glass being thrown at a wall. Her mother was yelling at her father again, he's always done something to make her angry. This time it was spending half of their retirement saving at the casino. He would usually go to hotel for a night or two till she would cool down.
But that wasn't her worries at the moment, she sat in her room thinking about when shell see her friends, they where'nt just friends they where like family to her, she thought about her friendship for a second and cringed, she would never tell them how much she cared about them. They skipped school alot but they where'nt bad kids and they didn't have bad grades they just had enough money to get away with things. She heard the car start up and a loud squeal of her dad's black Bugatti speeding down the street. She quickly got up and looked out the window she watched as her father turned the corner down the street bearly stopping at the sign. She new her mother would leave shortly so she began to get ready, her phone binged twice, Cassy and General had messaged her. "let's go we're waiting."
Gwin, Cassy and General sat at the bottom of a hill aways from the park, next to a concrete tunnel that look more like an alley to display bad art. they sat at the bottom of the hill next two a couple of trees Cassy and Gwin sat on a blanket trying to pour their alcohol in a soda can. General watched out for adults while swinging back and forth on a rope hammock. general looked around
"someones coming they're walking a dog"
"cas give me that"
Gwin whispered with a harsh tone. Then cassy,
"no I got it"
Seriously give me it I'll hide it under my bag"
"I said I got itttt"
"no you don't got it, half the can is pouring on the ground! your missing the hole!" still whispering stern. The women got closer and her dog started barking at them.
"fine ya know what." said Cassy
Gwin looked up at her
"I'm just going to chug it."
She chugged it and threw the can at Gwin to hide it. Gwin laughing,
"your so dumb" she slapped her shoulder.
"I said I would hide it"
The women passed with the dog.
General got up,
"did you even leave any for me."
Gwin trew a can of Pepsi secretly filled with beer.
"of course, here you go."
they laughed and messed around for a bit.
Gwin got up all dizzy, " come on let's all get on the hammock this time"
"umm it's getting kinda late we should probably go to General's or something."
General got up off the hammock.
"come on Cas"
he said tumbling forward
" don't kill the mood. yo Gwin turn up the music." Cassy pushed him away "annoying" she whispered.
a little bit tempered she sat down on the blanket and fiddled with the grass, Gwin and General sat on the hammock together laughing at the way the tree leaves looked above them. the sun was setting and it was pretty dark out, it was a warm night with no breeze and the and park was abandoned. Gwin tried to flip over general to lay on the other side of the hammock and accidentally flipped it upsidedown. Gwin hit her head off the ground and started laughing like a child General got up off the ground.
"Gwin you okay?"
Cassy got up and walked over
"you okay guys?"
"yeah I'm fine" Gwin said while laughing
she put her finger up to the back of her head and felt something wet, she landed on a bear bottle and cut her head. "um guys" she said rasing her hand
Cassy and General saw the blood on her head and ran up to her. "omg what happen?? what did you land on?"
"look" said General shes got a shard of glass in her head.
"Oh my god oh my god oh my god" "I'm Im gonna die?" how bad is it???"
"it's not that bad Gwin calm down it's just a cut" Cassy said,
"come let's go to your place general and we can see better if we had a light."
"okay yeah." said General,
"I have some stuff to help clean it too at the house."
before walking back to generals house they start pick up their stuff. Gwin bends down to pick up the blanket and when she stands back up she looks over at the tree line around the park. " OVER THERE LOOK". She yelled.
A tall, what looked like a man, standing looking directly in their direction slowly moved out of view.
"what it is?" said Cassy
followed by "over where" from General.
"There was a person guys, they just disappeared, they were staring at us. they where in the tree line."
Cassy looked to the tree line and back to them.
" Gwin stop playing it isn't funny."
"No I'm serious I saw someone!!"
"look Gwin it's 10:00 no one's gonna be out there okay, your drunk, and you just hit your head your probably seeing things." said General
"Your probably right but I could sware I saw someone."
they looked at each other for a minute.
"ummm okay let's get back to my place, she's really looking bad Cassy." Gwin continued to look in the direction while they all agreed and quickly got back to generals house.
