Next day came to quickly for Misako and Jonin who was sleeping after giving his shift to Shinji. But Shinji who was on the look out was bored out of mind. As he didn't saw Ryuzaki out of his cave for 1 sec.
"Anything happened ?" asked the Jonin and while also Misako joining Shinji for look out.
"No, nothing happened as he didn't even came outside the cave for 1 sec." said Shinji as he yawned.
"Hmm... Okay good then... I will go and report to the Hokage as for you two keep watching him." instructed Jonin as he prepared to go.
"Yes" both Misako and Shinji replied.
As the Jonin left the area Shinji prepared to sleep some time as just watching the suspect is to boring.
Misako left with nothing to do continued their watch. As she saw Ryuzaki coming out of the cave and lighting a fire without any hand signs, and started to cook a meat. It was strange for a fire as the colour was black.
Looking at him cooking made Misako angry as they are waiting for him to meet with the spy but here he is enjoying his meat.
Despite being a chunin you have to know that both Shinji and Misako are not much older than 14 years old. They are made chunin at the time of war and somehow survived the war by simple dumb luck.
They still have their childishness in them as they haven't matured fully. Despite being in the war and killing people their mentality still retained some silliness somehow which is question in its own.
When not in the mission they still like to live like a normal teenagers in their free time. If not for the shinobi world then they might have lived their life like any teenagers from modern world but they were born in this world where killing is normal everyday thing for them.
Looking at Ryuzaki eating meat made Misako hungry as eating normal food is hard to come by when in mission.
Seeing that Ryuzaki who was only 6 or 7 years old she started thinking how could this little child be a spy. But shinobi world is like this so she threw out that question from her mind and concentrated on the mission.

The Jonin standing in front of hokage started recounting his mission progress which is not much.
Hearing all that Hiruzen said " Keep watching him and if there's any change in the situation deal with it appropriately."
"Yes Lord Hokage" getting his orders he made his way to the forest once again.
Hiruzen thought < Even if there is no information now there might be some information later on.>
Hiruzen started to prepare for his journey towards the Daimyo as he put Shikaku in charge of everything. Who is better at managing, than the brain of hokage.
And Shikaku who is feeling the brunt is cursing his luck because of the work load.
Hiruzen took some anbu-nin as his guards as he made his way out of the Konoha.

After 7 days of journey Hiruzen came back as he walked around the village to see how far the progress was made. Walking in the village he saw the new buildings made by the villagers.
30% of the damaged village are constructed and others are still in progress. Looking that Shikaku made it so quickly he commended his intelligence.
After looking around the village he was satisfied with the progress as he made his way towards the office.
Inside the office Shikaku was working on the papers as he saw Hiruzen walked in.
"Lord hokage, welcome back. " Shikaku said with a smile as he was finally going to be relieved of this stress.
" Good job in making so much progress. I wish you would have become the hokage." said Hiruzen while smoking from his tobacco pipe and puffing out the smoke.
"Please don't say something so frightening. I like what I do now and I am not made to be a hokage." said Shikaku with a weary smile.
" Okay okay..... no need to say anymore. Then tell me what is progress of village and how much time will it take to finish all this?" said Hiruzen as he sat in the hokage chair.
Shikaku began to tell his report of the the progress. Ending the report he waited to recieve his orders until he heard Hiruzen say "Hmm... It looks like we cannot find the attacker anymore. Where could he have came from? Was it the other hidden villages who attacked at that time? Even if one of the hidden village did it, with no proof we cannot point finger at them."
"Yes Lord Hokage I was also thinking the same. Maybe one of the hidden village did collide with someone from the Uchiha clan or maybe Uchiha clan were just unlucky to get entangled in the mess. We cannot rule out anything yet. "
"How is the investigation of Uchiha clan? Did you find anything?" asked Hiruzen still puffing out smoke.
"No, we haven't found anything that can relate Uchiha clan being a conspirator. But we are still keeping watch on them in case we find something. "
" Okay, how about the boy was there anything with the boy? " Hiruzen was itching to find a link so that he can put pressure on Uchiha as he didn't forget the humiliation.
"No, that boy is also a puzzle to me. I have done an extensive investigation on his background but found nothing. He was going to attend the academy but with his chakra points damaged in the Kyuubi attack, and his performance sheet says that he was not talented to be ninja to begin with. So, they let him drop out of the academy. " Shikaku said bringing up the information of Ryuzaki.
Giving the report shikaku once again said "And as for him being in the forest their was nothing in the report apart from him living there and training which I find odd."
"Okay, I understand.... You can carry on with you task." Hiruzen said sighing at his misfortune to get any information.
Shikaku getting his order left the office and made his way to his house. As he got to hand over his work to hokage he can be lazy for today.
