Those eyelashes that have significance to the colour of the scorching sun that's being brightened by its own fire is being soaked with tears.
Her sunkissed dishevelled long hair that's pendulous and reaching the floor. She's oddly shivering while sleeping. Her lips seem too terrified, it's quivering.
Cold sweats that drenching her body making her bedroom dress to be soaked with her own bodily fluid. She's having the dream of the forgotten memory.
Her room that's full of the colour of darkness. The black and gold theme of her bedroom seems to add to the horror atmosphere she was seeing. The bed that's made of cotton will let you feel like your being lay down in the clouds. But it seems like an emptiness now.
Inside her memory, she was seeing was the dark sky that giving off the mood for execution.
She can feel the horror of the blazing fire consuming a person in the middle of the stage in the central circle where the execution of sinful people is taking place.
She was swallowed up by her dread feeling, but she held herself back. She heard the criticisms of the audience on the person who was now completely consumed by fire.
She didn't know why, but her heart ached at the sight, even though she didn't even know who it was, she could feel the weight she felt.
She slowly walked to the front of the stage. She saw the ashes of the person who had just been burned alive fly to the sky.
She turned to the audience and familiar with some of them. The other of them were members of the Imperial court. The rests are the nobles and commoners.
Until she noticed something familiar. That was what she always saw, the back of her father.
"Father!"
She called loudly to him, but he did not turn to her. She chased after him but suddenly she could not get out of her place because of the hands that prevented her movement. She struggled and was nervous.
"FATHER!"
She shouted for her father to look back at her but he just continued to leave, she continued to call her father as she struggled even more.
Her tears were falling like a waterfall. Frightened by the hands holding her back and pulling her stealthily.
"Fa-Father !!!" and she was finally dragged into the abyss.
Her deep forest green eyes were visible. Sweat dripped all over her body when she woke up to that awful nightmare. She even sobbed because of the dream. She just comforted herself so that she would not be afraid because she was alone. "That's okay. It's just nothing."
She lost her fear when she felt her stomach boil. She hadn't eaten yet, she had forgotten. The atmosphere was dark, no noise could be heard in the palace but the soft blow of the wind and the small noise creations made by her movements.
She just lay down again and hugged herself then fell asleep feeling hungry. She wakes up the next morning with breakfast ready for her. She only has so much routine every day, when she wakes up in the morning she has breakfast.
The dining room feels empty for her but she's used to it. Only she was eating since no one ever dines with her. Oh, she forgot.
Eadlin is starting to dine with her and starting to piss her off by confusing her every time they'll see each other.
"My dear sister Heidi!"
'Speaking of the devil.'
She's not surprised anymore. She's like a mushroom that always pops up every time. Eadlin blatantly sat down and faced Heidi who's eating her breakfast.
'Is she really my sister? What does it feel like she really changed for the worst? Now she has this brazen manner.' Heidi couldn't stop but shook her head at the thought.
Eadlin was about to say something but was interrupted by Heidi.
"No" She firmly said.
Eadlin heaved a sigh and curved her lips into a sad one.
"But I haven't said anything yet."
"Because I know you want to go out of the palace. Don't be so brazen my dear sister. It's in the middle of winter and father won't let us go out of the palace to have fun. Especially you." She bitterly remarked and emphasise the meaning of what she said that she's the favourite child of their father.
"We can..sneak out. I won't tell father." Eadlin said with the safety of the word sneak out.
"I just don't trust you."
What Heidi said made Eadlin fall into silence. She's hurt, yeah of course. Just a bit though. She silently stands up and without noise, she leaves the palace of Heidi.
'I guess that will make her stay quiet for a while' Heidi finished her meal before she leaves her palace and made her way to the garden just beside the Pelagus Palace's garden.
It's been one month ever since Eadlin changed and started chasing her.
'I really don't trust her'
What she thought but does she really not trust her?
And for the nth time again she heard those horrible multiple voices inside her head. It's so coarse that it's ringing inside of her mind.
'YES..... Don't trust her...'
'She will just hurt you.'
'Pretender'
'Yes... You should just trust us.'
'Us.. Heidi.. Us'
She just shakes off all the voices she's hearing.
Heidi heaved a sigh as she looks around and appreciates how beautiful the plants and flowers are. She's walking with her eyes close to having a deep feeling with the cool breeze.
When she opened her eyes. The golden tree materialized in front of her. It is a living tree that bears fruit in summer every thirty thousand years.
It produces a golden miracle. It looks like strawberry fruit. It is called a golden miracle because just like its name it works a miracle and why golden is because it is actually gold because thousands of years before it bears fruit.
It was stood there before the empire was built. According to the history that was recorded before it has borne fruit twice. It lives even during the Old Age Era.
Heidi sat down under the tree. She closes her eyes again and feeling the movements of the wind, she feels like the breeze is hugging her.
One of the reasons why Heidi find comfort here when she's alone because she feels like she's not alone in this world. At least they got each other's back.
She opened her eyes and looked at the garden that her father always went to. She smiled bitterly as she felt the pain in the depths of her heart again.
It was like her heart was squeezing every time she thought about when her father would notice her.
She sadly watched her father's day-to-day work. To tea in that garden of this time. In the last month that she had been busy because of Eadlin, she has not been able to go to her father to greet him.
It's been a few weeks but she thinks he feels even more relieved that he can't see her anymore. 'Am I a burden to him? Maybe. Because who wants a child like me. A lot is really wrong with me.'
The heavy snowflakes that are falling seem to synchronised with what she's feeling. The feeling of coldness and numbness inside of her.
"Heidiii!!"
Heidi almost flies out of the garden when suddenly Eadlin surprises her. She can feel her impulse that's being risen. She thinks that her mind is boiling because she was just shocked.
"What's your problem?!"
"Ow eem.. I'm sorry"
"Stop it Eadlin. Can't you understand that I don't want you to come to chase after me? Please just this once gives me peace of mind."
"I just want to be close to you. Can't you see nor feel it. I've changed."
"Yeah, you changed for the worst. Leave me alone. I don't wanna see you ever!"
"But-- Heidi"
Heidi walks away with a grievous heart not even letting her sister finished her words. Eadlin was also hurt she feels so downcast, she was left there under the golden tree.
