26. It will not Happen Again
Amelia hurriedly wiped her tears and put on a cold face only then did she step outside to meet David.
"What is wrong?" she asked curtly. David, who was sitting, got up and looked at Amelia guiltily.
"I'm sorry, Yasmin."
David hurried over to Amelia. However, he didn't want to lose Amelia. He didn't want that beautiful girl to fall into the hands of another producer, David was already in love with her voice.
"I guarantee he won't do the same to you, Jasmine," said Patricia.
Still folding her arms across her chest, Amelia nodded.
"Fine, I'm sorry. But, don't get puffed up first, Mr. David. I forgive you because Ms. Patricia asked, if she's not the one who asked, I don't want to forgive you. I hate people who treat women like you," said Amelia. She had said that on purpose so that David would not be so rude to Patricia either.
David smiled as he stretched out his hand. "Deal," he said. Amelia tried to look away as she took David's helping hand. She didn't want to see how intoxicating that man's smile was. Honestly, Amelia also had time to enjoy the warm and soft kiss of David on her lips.
"Regarding filming, I still want to be out of town. But if it's not possible for us to Dieng, where are you going?" asked David, "or if you want, how about shooting abroad? Korea for example?"
Amelia shook her head. "You don't need to go to any foreign country, in Indonesia, it feels like there are many good places. Besides, this is only filming for video clips. You don't have to go far away, the important thing is that the results are good," said Amelia.
"If I may know, why do you want Telaga Warna so badly?" said Amelia again. She was very curious because David was so determined to go there. He believes it's not just taking pictures.
David took a deep breath, it was true that he wanted Telaga Warna because his late mother had told him that his father had taken him to Telaga Warna and David's mother was very happy. Also in the diary, her late mother wrote that there was the first time she knew that she was pregnant. David just wanted to remember his mother.
"There are memories in there that I want to repeat. But maybe this is not the right time or the moment," David replied. Seeing the expression on David's face, Patricia immediately realized that her cousin must be remembering her late mother.
"How about Bunaken? Manado I think also has a good view," said Patricia.
"Can't it just be a place close by?" asked Amelia.
"Do you have any ideas?" asked Patricia.
Amelia seemed to frown, "Pelabuhan Ratu beach? It would feel good if I was singing while walking on the beach with some romantic scenes. We can also bring the piano as Mr. David wants."
Immediately David frowned, remembering that Karla had made her first video clip there. Although there is no piano playing scene.
"Are you a big fan of Karla?" asked David spontaneously. Amelia knit her eyebrows.
"Sorry, what does that have to do with Karla?" asked Amelia.
"Karla ... ah, nothing important," said David, "we'll talk about it tomorrow. Now you can just rest, I'm sorry about what happened." David hurried goodbye, he did not return to the office but returned to his apartment.
When he arrived at the apartment, Markonah and Tuti were busy with Davila who was crying very loudly.
"What is this?" asked David.
"I just wanted to call you, luckily you came home quickly," said Markonah.
"What's all this, Markonah? David didn't ask where Karla was because he knew Karla must be shooting."
However, Markonah's next words took David by surprise.
"Mrs. Karla just now, just a few minutes ago left with her things."
"What ?! Karla go? You don't kid, Markonah!" snapped David.
"How dare I, Sir. Joking with you. You just look at the room, surely your clothes are not there anymore," said Markonah.
David hurried into his room and checked the contents of the cupboard. It was true, Karla's clothes were not there.
"DAMN!" exclaimed David irritably. He immediately called Karla, but the woman refused his call. The man sat on the side of the bed in annoyance. So far Karla has never done anything like this to him. Karla always followed David's every word, whatever it was. But, why suddenly that woman left. Even though they are not fighting. Even after fighting, Karla had never left like this.
Meanwhile, Karla, who was driving her car, deliberately refused David's call. She didn't think that David would contact her. She deliberately left David's apartment and left Davila. Whose heart does not hurt when she sees a loved one kissing another woman. Yes, Karla was about to invite David to lunch together. She wants to fix their relationship which has been so bland lately. Karla doesn't want to be selfish, all she thinks is Davila. Even though she never wanted a child around, Davila was still her beloved child. Her heart as a mother still loves her baby.
If she left Davila it wasn't because she didn't love that beautiful baby. However, she did not want to fall and fall again on the same mistakes. She and David's relationship was not normal. As an ordinary woman, Karla wants a legal marriage.
But if David didn't want her anymore, she was willing to go. Let Davila be with David, Davila's life will be more secure if she lives with David. After all, she also has the right to be happy if there is a man who has serious intentions to build a household with her. Karla feels very tired, she is tired of the life she is currently living.
Karla finally arrived at her luxury apartment located in the Menteng area. Karla bought the apartment without David agreeing. For the last two years, she has indeed prepared everything. Karla loved David, but she used her logic too. And when David asked her for a child, Karla thought that David would marry her. It turned out that what she had thought long ago happened too. David started to look away.
Karla doesn't want her to leave because David was kicked out because of the presence of a third person. So, before David announces his new girlfriend, Karla is better off. After all, now her career is back on the rise even though it's not in the world of singing. Karla will not waste that opportunity. She had already thought about what she would do in the future with her savings and deposits.
