Long Distance
Amelia hurriedly grabbed her cellphone and called Tasya. Ah, she forgot her promise with Tasya to make a video call with Davina.
"Hi, Mel ...."
Tasya greeted her with a face full of smiles. Meanwhile, Davina seemed to be holding a piece of bread in her hand.
Amelia smiled at her little daughter who was getting more and more beautiful every day.
"Sorry, I forgot my cellphone was silent. Earlier David asked me to lunch together. I just came home half an hour ago."
"It's okay. I just wanted to remind you to always be careful."
"I'll take good care of myself," replied Amelia.
Tasya seemed hesitant to ask, but in the end, she asked, "Karla ...."
"I met her earlier. She still looks like usual, but I know that she is not happy right now, Sya. I know that as a younger sister I can feel what Karla is feeling right now."
Tasya sighed deeply, she scratched her head which was not itchy.
"In my opinion, you approach your sister, Mel. Sooner or later she will have to know if you are Amelia."
"Wait until I'm ready, Sya. I think it's still a long and long time for me to admit to Karla who I am."
"Okay, I'm just reminding me. Just now David sent me an email. He's also transferred some money to my account as payment for your contract. I'll transfer the money to you right away."
Amelia nodded, "No need to send a lot. You transfer Nina for her salary. Just enough for me, I don't have to buy costumes anyway. You arrange for Davina's needs, okay."
"Fine, princess. Ah, I'll send the schedule that David sent to me via email to Nina. Let her take care of you. You know it's fine," said Tasya.
"Okay, I'll sleep first then. I don't think I have enjoyed the atmosphere in Indonesia for a long time," chuckled Amelia.
"Remember your schedule for the doctor's appointment and remember your healthy diet."
"Okay, Mom."
Tasya just laughed amused then hung up. Meanwhile, Amelia immediately turned off the cellphone and immediately lay down on the bed. A few moments later, she was fast asleep.
Amelia woke up when someone pinched her arm slowly until she gasped in surprise and sat down.
"Geez, Pat!" she shrieked, making Patricia giggle.
"Do you know what time it is?" she asked. Amelia shook her head, then lay back down.
"I'm so tired, Pat. I don't think it's been a long time since I slept soundly like that."
"Is it true that in Korea you can't sleep?"
Amelia stretched as she stretched out her arms and yawned.
"Since I became pregnant and gave birth to Davina I have never been able to sleep long and soundly."
Patricia chuckled, "No wonder, you slept soundly like a baby. It's eight o'clock at night. I've been here for an hour. Nina just had dinner, I brought you fruit and other groceries. David told me to."
Amelia widened her eyes, "Very nice of him."
"Fine, if you have a wish," said Patricia, making Amelia burst out laughing.
"He's your cousin, Pat."
"A very annoying cousin, I sometimes get annoyed with him who often does his way, Mel. He doesn't care about the environment around him where he lives which is still closely related to eastern cultural customs. Even his relationship with Karla has become controversial. the more forbidden he will act on his own. "
Amelia smiled. David has always been arrogant and stubborn. He always felt that with the money he had the world was in his hands.
"I'm hungry," said Amelia. Hearing that Patricia, a beautiful woman, suddenly felt like chewing something. Hearing Amelia's words, Patricia gave an irritated glare.
"Are you hungry because you heard my confidante?" she asked. Amelia shook her head, "Hearing the name David I became hungry, somehow I always get emotional when I hear the name and be near him."
"It's because you love David," Patricia said teasingly.
Amelia's face blushed at once, she immediately got up and stepped into the kitchen.
"Wow, you slept well, Ms. Just woke up?" asked Nina who was watching television. Amelia blushed, "I'm tired, Nin. Have you eaten?" asked Amelia.
"Patricia and I just ate Padang rice."
Amelia's face immediately became sad, Padang rice was her favorite food.
"I wasn't bought?" she asked, still looking pathetic and hopeful, making Nina laugh.
"I ordered through the restaurant, huh?" said Nina.
Amelia's beautiful eyes immediately sparkled with joy at Nina's offer. Without thinking twice, she immediately nodded, "order me too, use rendang, OK," asked Amelia. Nina immediately nodded, while Patricia just shook her head.
"But tomorrow afternoon you have to go to the gym, OK?" Said Nina.
Patricia burst out laughing, "hahaha ... it's not good, you have to manage, mom
what did you eat, "she said. Amelia just snatched it, but she nodded too.
"It's okay, the important thing is I can eat Padang rice tonight," she replied.
Shortly thereafter, the courier delivering the order arrived. Amelia joyfully devoured the rice she ordered.
"Geez, this is so delicious, Pat. It's been a long time since I ate something like this."
"Not in Korea?"
Amelia swallowed the food that was in her mouth first and then answered Patricia's question.
"There, in Korea, there are several restaurants that provide Indonesian food. One of them is Warung Barokah, located right in the Ansan area, South Korea. You could say that Ansan is an area for immigrants other than the Gimhae area. And, the food there is halal."
Patricia gawked, "Why didn't you take me over there when I was in Korea yesterday?" asked Patricia.
"Well, for what? You can be satisfied with eating in Indonesia, if you go to Korea, you can taste Korean specialties."
This time it was Patricia who snatched away in disgust. How could she not, during her week in Korea she was forced to eat Korean specialties, which are mostly spicy. Yes, although some are not, for Patricia who is accustomed to food with Indonesian spices and flavors, of course, she fits the food well. Only a few types she can eat.
"Next time I have to go there again, take me to that restaurant, I don't want to eat bulgogi, and what kind of bajang is that ...."
"JJAJANGMYUN!" cried Amelia, amused.
"Ah, whatever the name is."
Amelia and Nina just laughed amusedly. Meanwhile, Patricia just pursed her lips. However, the girl felt happy with Amelia and Nina. She feels that she has found friends and friends to talk to and share with.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Amelia and Patricia looked at each other.
"You invited someone?" asked Amelia. Patricia shook her head, but she went straight to the door and opened it. When she saw who had come, Amelia was silent for a moment.
