It was 5 Jan and snow covered whole area of school. Morning was very foggy, visibility was rare. Most of the classmates are on holiday went to there hometowns. But Larry has decided to stay there as he was not happy to spend this beautiful winter with his awful uncle. Ryan too stayed there as he felt that parents doesn't care for him then why should he look for them. Larry came to know that 6th of January is Ryan's birth date. He calculated days left and he came to know that tomorrow would be Ryan's birthday. He decided to plan an outing with Ryan as Ryan was really very disturbed from past few days. But an outing is strictly prohibited for those who stayed during time of winter holidays. Mr.Winkle is prominent law-breaker of Royal Enclave so he decided to get out with some tricky ways and managing the watchman as he had maintained good relations with watchman of exit 3 which was near residential areas of Dean. He talked to watchman in the evening after having lunch at the mess as he was late for lunch due to other arrangements he was making for Ryan's surprise. Watchman agreed to Larry's proposal of letting him outside but strictly warned to return by 6'00 in evening because by then his duty's shift would be over and other watchman will be at his place who is unknown to Larry. Larry accepted the instructions and planned other things in the evening. Morning of 6th January was as usual normal. Ryan knew that his birthday is unknown to everybody and he himself didn't try to disclose it. Both of them went for morning sports and once again clashed with Illyana at the court. This time Larry didn't tried to tease her as he was busy with his thoughts and planning about outing with Ryan. But morning's Illyana looked quite impressive and her cute flickers distracted Larry. He was thinking that why not to take Illyana for outing, but his conscience was endangered on thinking if Illyana told Dean about such an outing. Moreover he didn't want to waste this chance of getting outside premises with his rival Illyana.
Larry asked, "Ryan morning bit cozy today, why not to go outside and enjoy the weather?"
"I am not interested to be scolded by anybody."
"Don't be fear of anybody, I will manage."
"I know your management." Ryan laughed. He was seen laughing after so long. Despite his refusals Larry made him agree for outing. They get out form exit 3. From outside Royal Enclave looked like palace of Dutches. He followed the pathway which took them Royal Cafe, a known place for such kind of parties.
"Why not to have something at Royal Cafe?" Larry asked.
"You have any money?"
"Don't fear I will manage."
"Okay!!"
Larry took him inside the cafe where he had already arranged everything for Ryan.
"Why so dark inside this grand place?" Ryan beamed at Larry.
All of sudden place was lightened up with all sorts of decorations and it seemed like some carnival is arranged for Ryan, but only Larry and Ryan are part of this grand carnival.
"Woww! What's that? HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN" Ryan read.
Larry hugged Ryan and said "Happy birthday my dear brother."
Its something special for Ryan. His eyes brimming with tears of love shown by his best friend.
"Don't cry, it's your day." Ryan cut the mini-sized came and then both of them shared afternoon lunch by heart. It's the best birthday for Ryan. Then they get outside and enjoyed valleys as due to winter fog they appeared like paradise. In all this enjoyment after so many days Larry forgot the promise he had made with watchman to return by 6:00. Evening bell started to rang, scenic beauty was quite impressive with ringing of church bells. Larry was out if hus monotonus life at the enclave, it was not so montonous now because he got pleasure in teasing Illyana. Ringing bells distracted Ryan and he looked up at time, it was 6:30. He was shocked to see the time and grabbed Ryan's hand and both forced hum to ran away. Both started running.
"Why so fast Larry?"
"That dean would chop our head."
"You told you can manage."
"I can only manage till 6:00."
Both was running as fast as they could. Their sweaty clothes in the winter with snow fall can easil y reflect their fear.
"What the hell you both are doing out?" A burly- surly watchman replaced with the pleasant one asked.
"Nothing just a sort of walk" Larry replied.
"In case of prohibition."
"Its last time sirrr! we would take care of it in future" Larry pleaded.
"Noo! I know boys like you, I will take you to dean" he scolded angrily.
Fear strucked in their mind and their heart was pounding heavily. Watchman grabbed their hand and forced them to follow him. He was talking both if them to residents but all of a sudden Illyana appeared.
"Can I talk to miss?" asked watchmen from Illyana.
Illyana being smarter then them understood the whole matter and said, " She is not here at present."
"Okk I will take these boys later."
"Dont worry mister, I would talk to mom. when she come, tell me just what they did and leave them here."
"So nice of you junior Dean."
Illyana moved her flickers in sense of proud. Watchman told everything about both the boys and left them at the residents. Illyana took them inside and followed a unknown way
She took them to the court from this path way which was a secret way to Royal Enclave. Both were shocked to see how on this earth constructors have managed to design these secret pathway which is unknown to everybody.
"How you know that way" Larry asked.
"Don't bother me to get you punished." Illyana snorted.
"Happy birthday Ryan" Illyana said firmly.
"How you know that?"Larry beamed.
"That's why I saved you."
