Chapter 37 - Case file

The hunters association of America employees consisted of ex military and civilian workers, their duty was to enforce and monitor hunters and guilds alike as well as maintaining public order, they ran solely off word of mouth and eye witness accounts, a number of hunters who worked under this guise were primarily higher tiered and older gentlemen who wished to sprout a career through connections and the business world.

The hunters association of America rarely sent out their own hunters, as their resources were already spare due to lack of funding, they would instead alert nearby guilds and set up military like tents around the area to provide the hunters with what they needed.

The man who ran the entire operation was a man named David Rolland he himself was a hunter however he dabbled not in the actions typically associated with one, he was one of eight S classes that resided in America, the second largest congregation of such a class, the highest being China with thirteen.

The man was steadily getting on in years, his skill was begging to dull and his senses weakened by the day, his assistant a man named Christopher Miller was a hunter as well falling in the A class catagory.

Miller and Rolland sat across from each other in a sparsely furnished room, informing him on the passing of the Porter, Luke Murray.

upon hearing this Rolland sighed, a deep wave of guilt washed over him, he was given a folder with information complied regarding the case, Miller walked out closing the door behind him steadily wary of making such noise, the room fell silent as Rolland opened the file, he read throughly through it before closing it and sliding it across the table, he held his head in his hands and breathed inwardly.
