The king later held meetings about this the next day.
Later in the evening, it was concluded that there would be guards round the clock. High security will be added to the gates. If there is any problem, they will use their magic to fend off thieves. The royal treasury chamber will be filled with magical traps so that thieves could be distanced. Each citizen must be ready with their available weaponry in case of any danger. There will be two guards for each house. Everybody will be active at night. The king decided to give a speech to his subjects. The people in the capital city gathered around the palace, while messengers ran to every nook and corner of the kingdom to spread the news. At around 4 p.m. in the late afternoon. The king addressed his subjects. He spoke, "My dear subjects. Our country is in danger in becoming ruined by the Aquilla thieves. The guards will come to each one's house and will give steps to protect you. Let's all win over the enemies to become the righteous one!"
Everyone cheered the king with praises. Dan and the fairy had gone for the important work-protecting the treasury. They bought the griffin with them. They went inside the hallway to the chamber. While walking through, Dan seemed to think of something. The fairy was doubtful. The fairy asked Dan, "What is the doubt Dan? What are you thinking of? Is there anything to ask to me?"
-"Yeah I have one. Where is Cheval the Pegasus?"
-"Umm, yeah I forgot...about it. I actually don't know about that sorry.." simplified the little fairy.
-"Poor Cheval! Where he would be, in search of us. Ok let's go to the chamber."
They went to the chamber. They saw many workers working for the traps. They first assembled the first trap. It was filled with magic. The trap is about that if the magic was not cut, it would bump the person to 10 feet. The three went into the inner chamber, where the treasure was secured. They went inside and found lots and lots of gold and silver coins piled up. There were towers of silver bars, stands of diamonds, vessels made of gold which had heaps of rubies, emeralds and sapphires. These must be protected securely.
That evening they were very busy. The citizens of Alcista were also busy. The cattle were safely kept in shelves. Two people with a dagger will stand beside the shed. The children were armed with their own defense-wooden shields, wooden swords which will defend them and long sticks; all are made by willow trees. The citizens have arranged catapults, walls, moats in very important places. Women and children were seated in the basement and secret spaces. The people are very brave and have the patriotism for their kingdom to be saved. They are very eagered to defend their kingdom from the Aquilla thieves and win over them to rise for victory.
