They sent them through a magical capsule. It zipped through the hills and the meadows, with a good canopy of the land around them. That was a good moment Dan will never forget.
They came to the gate successfully, without any hassle. Dan saw the skateboard. It had an inscription, which seemed to be quite fishy. It read, "To activate the power of the skateboard, say: Abracadabra board fly up!"
Dan memorized it and then set to work. They poured the bitter jam inside it and the gate opened.
"I am very much glad the gate opened," said the fairy.
"Me too," said Dan.
They went in and saw a very beautiful garden with clovers, buttercups and primroses all in a very elegant pattern. In front of the garden was a small cottage. Not a very special one, but one made of dark oak and with many mushrooms nearby. Dan knocked on the door and yelled, "Is there anyone inside?" No one responded. Suddenly the door slipped open and the three are taken inside. Camb barked "Woof-Woof-Woof"
They went through a curved chimney, curving so much. They all were soaked in smoke. They came out and landed in a large chimney. They cleaned themselves and saw a big board.
Dan questioned, "What is this all about?"
The fairy said, "This is a Board game trap. We have to follow the rules of the game."
"Those are common in Fantalasia. It's kind of a way of pranking (giggling)"
There were snakes, lots of snakes, on the board, and on ladders. And obviously, it's a snakes and ladders board. The three kept their leg at 1 and now a big dice came rolling. It spoke and said, "Players, be careful of the snakes, if they bit you, you will become a statue." The three were careful. They ran and jumped here and there. When Dan stepped on a ladder, the snakes didn't chase him. Everyone followed the same thing. Camb and the fairy were very close to Dan, shivering in fear.
Somehow they managed up and went out of it and suddenly, they were flying without their control. They went inside a big hall and landed over there. They saw a black-and-whiteboard. Dan said, "It must be a chessboard" And he was right. Now they got dressed in their characters. Dan was the knight. Camb was the rook. The fairy was the Queen. They belong to the white team. They started playing. If some coins get defeated by the opponent, they are removed from the board magically. Dan lost by getting defeated by a king. Camb was defeated by another rook. Nobody was left out in the white team except for the little fairy aka the 'Queen'.
The chessboard seemed like a real battlefield. It was exciting to watch the battle aka the chess battle over there.
She defeated all the players easily and the white team won. They could pass on now. Again they went to another hall where a new game is waiting. It was "Castle Conquer". Dan has never heard of the game in his life. No wonder Fayette was extremely annoyed when Dan told "I've never heard it!" The rules were interesting, of course. One must belong to the blue team and another to red. The blue must seize the castle of the red. Only one person is available in the blue team.
Dan was ready to go. They gave him a blue flag. He went inside the castle and found hundreds of men in front of him. He thought that he could use his magic. He said loudly: "Abracadabra defeat them all!" They all flew and went to goodness-knows-where. Finally, Dan hoisted the flag on the castle. The fairy cheered and applauded Dan. Suddenly they were shifted to a tight box. The three were locked. They have no idea how to escape from the box.
