After the poor door was sent flying, Mimi and Changhuang dashed towards the entrance, both with the same speed not wanting to be undone. In the midst of climbing the stairs, Mimi said to Changhuang,
"Hey let's see who defeats more and saves more"
"I'm in!" Changhuang agreed. It wouldn't hurt to have fun right?
"Un, let's make a bet" Mimi stopped in front of the the huge door.
"What the bet?" Changhuang asked.
"How about a nice meal for the winner" Mimi said confidently
Changhuang eyed her strangely.
' this foodie she just wants some food'
"Alright!"
Mimi brought down her sword, "First let me scan the area to see where the other captives are held" She then closes her eyes and concentrates. Changhuang didn't tell Mimi that she could also do it because she wanted to see how she would do it.
"Search and scan" Mimi whispered. A bright red magic circle appears over Mimi's head and the red light spreads everywhere.
"Holy moly" she said in amazement.
"What's wrong" asked Changhuang
"We're in a noble's house I think judging from the riches I saw and there are lots of other kids in the basement above, two men are coming for us. They should open the door in some few minutes and there are hundreds of these people who seem like kidnappers"Mimi said in one breath.
Changhuang pondered. If they were given an hour, they should be able to deal with everything here.
"What about the guards.?"she asked.
" What guards? "Mimi was puzed.
" I mean we can't just kill eventhough they're bad people and just get away with it right? "Changhuang explained camly.
" I can send a signal to the nearest royal guards. "Mimi said feeling all smug.
" Tch what's there to feel smug about. I can also do that after learning" Changhuang grumbled.
Mimi raised her hand above her head and a small ball of light manifested.
"To the nearest guards follow this ball of light, there are human traffickers"
She then lowered the ball of light and snaps her fingers. Changhuang listened in awe as the voice played albeit different from Mimi's angelic voice,
"TO THE NEAREST GUARDS FOLLOW THIS BALL OF LIGHT, THERE ARE HUMANS TRAFFICKERS" it was a powerful voice that sounded like an old man. Changhuang imagined the little Mimi with this voice and she laughed so hard.
Mimi looked at her like she was crazy, ignoring the laughing Changhuang, she sent the ball of light towards the roof.
Mimi made the voice sound much older and powerful because she thought the guards wouldn't listen to a childish voice and might think someone was playing a prank on them.
The ball of light passed through the roof and disappeared. Before Changhuang and Mimi could prepare themselves, the door in front of the creeks open and two large figures could he seen.
Changhuang and Mimi both jumped back at the same time, their easy going self vanished leaving little girls with murderous auras.
"I see no wonder boss placed you both here" the first man eyed the girls up and down creepily.
"Don't underestimate them ham especially the red eyed one" the one with curly green hair said while eyeing Changhuang and Mimi with caution. He pulled out his wand ready to attack anytime.
"Oh its sea weed head. You owe me a beating" Mimi said when she saw the green Haired one.
'Sea weed head' shuddered when Mimi smiled at him.
"Enough talk, let's fight 'cause I got a bet to win"
Changhuang dashed ahead of Mimi and went for the man named ham. Ham snickered when he saw the little girl come to him,
"little girl you should know your place and-"
*pow*pow*
The next moment he was lying on the floor with his teeth broken.
"hmp why is he soo weak" Changhuang stepped on his chest and crushed his magic core.
*crack*
*Arghhhhhhh*he let out a pained filled cry breathing his last.
"You shouldn't underestimate little girls" Changhuang said smugly and dashed forward not waiting for Mimi afterall she got a bet to win.
*Arhhhhhhhhhhhghh* another scream filled the hallway sending shivers up Changhuang's spine.
Suddenly Mimi was next to her. They both smiled at each other before making it towards the new room.
Everywhere they went, they left no one alive.
Thirty minutes later, Changhuang and Mimi who were covered in blood from head to toe made their way towards the heavy painted gold wall.
Changhuang kicked the door open and the people in the room were stopped their gambling.
"Oh they got out as expected of the goods" The man who seemed to be the leader and probably the Count of this mansion said. He crossed his legs on the couch he was sitting and looked at his men who were dumbstrucked.
"Well what are you doing go get them" the Count hit his palm on the table breaking them to pieces. The men came back to their senses and charged towards Changhuang and Mimi. They split into two and surrounded them.
*swish* a sword went straight for Changhuang's head, she ducked and kicked the man sending him flying.
She then brandished her sword and rushed to the men going for a full kill.
"This is probably most fun time I'm having ever since the year started" Changhuang was smiling soo hard that her teeth might fall off.
