He tried moving but failed to even roll around even an inch. examining his bode he noticed that he was firmly glued to a piece of kelp along with the grains of rice. Alex looked happy seeing this as he had just received a must-have on his reincarnation 'A system'. Examining it Alex was surprised to say the least 'Seriously a squid ughhh and I am not even hatched yet. please don't tell me that all those rice grains are also eggs. It's going to be complete anarchy the moment we hatch. There must be millions of them here. Alex looked at his stats in dispair. It was common knowledge from the novels he had read that 1 unit of the strength was equal to that of a spider so if he had 1/10 of a spider's strength where would that put him. However, the quest option made him quite happy too. He tried to move his tentacles but could hardly wiggle them. After trying several times his interface lit up again

'Finally, a skill' thought Alex, He noticed that the moment he acquired the skill he was able to wiggle his tentacles without as much effort as before. He then tried to move his body around by using his tentacles like the oars on a boat. The results were disastrous, to say the least, He had next to no control over his body. One moment he was moving left then the next he was moving right once upward then downward. It barely took a minute before he completely exhausted his stamina. 'This is way harder than it should be' Alex said while panting (Well he was passing water through his gills but you get the idea). Luckily his recently acquired skill leveled up

Alex was happy when he saw the notification. He discovered that he could finally move around properly though extremely slowly but compared to bobbing around all over the place this was several times better. Just then Alex saw what looked like a miniature lobster floating his way. There was a bright green label above its head which read

Alex was elated this situation was akin to prey running into his mouth. He wiggled his way towards the lobster and started wrapping his little tentacles around it dragging towards his beak. The baby lobster didn't even get a chance to react as it was ripped to shreds before being swallowed.
