Chapter 20- Mana Jade
Ji feng observed his surroundings and found nothing except for the Skeleton Placed inside green jade. He concluded that the voice he heard had come from the life auro of this skeleton through some kind of Telepathy technique. After few breath Ji feng replied with normal voice "How could you save your life auro in earth". The voice heard this and said with a frown "We have our own ways, and also, what do you mean by earth, aren't you from earth?,Why do you look down on earth?". With response to the other person, Ji feng just smiled and left that topic with other question "What do you mean by 'We', What's your purpose for being kept alive in this way and also, Why did you want to kill us?". The voice replied in a domineering tone through telepathy "Ofcourse I want to kill you, Who told you to contaminate the life auro that i am receiving from my tombstone, It may cause my soul to collapse, if i let you peoples to continue like that, and by the looks of it, you should be the cause of life auro contamination as the others with you can't even able to withstand the impact from falling. And then, You are not qualified to know our purpose to be kept alive".
Ji feng heard this and felt guilty as others have died because of his curiosity and asked the skeleton with a sly smile, "As you don't wish to answer my question's, why don't I break your jade for experimental purpose". The voice heard this and said with a sneer "You can try, but don't be optimistic". Ji feng heard this and got annoyed. In hell, No one dared to provoke him, but now, even a left out soul provokes him, which really made his heart feel some pain. Ji feng made a punching stance towards the cubic jade and with his physical strength he shot a punch towards the center of the jade. Ji feng's body cultivation technique have reached its third stage and his skins are stronger like a diamond but that punch only caused a slight crack in it. Ji feng felt irritated and pushed back his hand and tried to make a continuous punch. But before he could punch, the voice said in an scarred tone "Don't break it, I will give whatever info you want and will show the way for you to leave". The skeleton thought that no human can break it with bare hands and challenged ji feng, but seeing ji feng made a crack with single punch made the skeleton feel ji feng's abnormality with other humans.
Ji feng found the slight leakage of life source from the crack and understood the skeletons reaction. If he were to continue his reckless attack, It might cause the skeleton's life auro to dissipate. Ji feng asked in an orderly manner "What's the purpose of you being kept alive", The skeleton replied in an irritated voice "Ofcourse to get an immortal life, I may have a chance to find a perfect human vessel with certain requirements". Ji feng thought for a while and don't asked too much about their methods as he had seen and have known lot of technique's from hell's mansion. Then Ji feng asked the skeleton with confused face "How did you manage to pull us down", The skeleton said with a frown "Are you an idiot, Isn't it obvious that these tombstone are created for us, We have made lot of traps in here that can be activated with only our life auro, but sadly, none of those traps have the ability to kill a monster like you". Ji feng heard the skeletons voice while also observing the life auro leakage from the crack. These life auro also contain slight traces of mana.
Ji feng continued his interrogation, "What do you mean by 'We' all this time, I haven't seen any other skeleton than you", The skeleton replied "Ofcourse I am talking about my ancestors and the next generation Ruler's after me, whose soul have been kept alive in a way similar to my soul. Ji feng said " And my last question, Why can i feel trace of mana from these cracks", Skeleton said with a frown "I think you are saying about the energy stored in this jade as it contain different energy which only helps our life source to not get dissipated over time".Ji feng heard this and suddenly displayed a greedy look in his eyes.
