'Human System? What the f*ck is this? Was I not human before? Is this because of my magic awakening?Daily quests? What are those? World 1? What is this sh*t!?'
Many questions popped in my head , so to clear my doubts I decided to ask my senior who was looking down at me. I got up and cleaned my pants who were dirty because of the dust on the ground.
Before I could say anything the excited senior barged me with multiple questions.
"What happened? Did your mana pushed you back? Oh my god this the first time something like this has happened , I can't wait to tell other. How do you feel about your mana attribute? Oh shoot , miss Helie hasn't told you yet."
Her eyes were shining with excitement , I could see stars twinkling in her eyes. I didn't have any answer to her questions which is why I chose to dodge them.
"Aah my head is hurting , senior could you please refrain from asking me questions for a minute?"
"O-Oh sure , I'm sorry you for barging you with my questions."
I did this to buy me some time for myself and think about the ongoing situation. I didn't know anything about this 'system' thing , my mom and dad weren't any kind of powerful mages too. My mom just worked from home and my dad was just an office worker , neither of them ever mentioned about this system.
'So it is safe to say that this isn't something I've inherited , hmm let's just keep this a secret for now and ask if old mage miss Helie know anything about this system.'
I acted as if my head was hurt and held onto my head , after few minutes I finally asked about the system.
"Miss Helie , do you know anything called system?"
"What do you speak of young one? System? This is my first time hearing something like that. Maybe you are hallucinating because of using your mana first time , you still can't control it so you must've exhausted it during the attribute examination."
'Yeah it must be that , man I was kind of excited seeing the message.'
She took out a paper which was on her left side and slipped it to me and said ,
"As for your attributes , you're attributeless."
This was my first time something like that , I knew every single attribute present in the world be it fire or earth. Which was why I was excited about my attribute , I read a lot of novels which was why I expected to have more unique attribute. But my fate had something different for me
"Attributeless? What is that? I've never heard of something like that."
"Ah yes , attributeless is more like a state. It means that your attribute isn't decided yet , you didn't know of this because not a lot of people are attributeless. Anyways don't be disheartened and train yourself and find your own attribute."
"You're either have a neutral stance against all the attributes or are equally loved by all the attributes. I would say the latter is impossible for any mage so it must be that you don't have affinity towards any of the attributes."
"Hmm , I see"
'So I have to form a level of affinity with any kind of attribute to obtain them. Interesting.'
"Take this paper and submit it to the main office down on the first floor. That young girl will help you there , after submitting you'll be given your license."
"Ah you will also have to update it after you get your attribute , the license will not show your attribute now."
"Okay , I'll do that. Thank you for your work."
"Oh oh I'll take you to the main office follow me , also sorry I'm late to introduce myself. My name is Keli and I'm a second year student , my mana attribute is Wind. Nice to meet you."
The overly energetic senior finally introduced herself , her attribute 'Wind' was considered to be one of the rare attribute. But it was nowhere on the level of lightning , those who were with attributes like Ice , Lightning or Tree were either killed by the murderous guild or recruited by top guild.
At age of 18 getting into guild was a big thing , nobody except the people with Ice , Lightning and Tree attribute were able to get in a guild.
I followed senior Keli to get my license , the process took a hour and I was able to obtain my license. That's how my first day at Magic Academy ended , nothing much happened. The classes started from tomorrow onwards and today's aim was to unlock the mana channels of all the first year students.
I walked my way to home and thought about the messages I saw , they didn't feel like hallucinations at all. To test out miss Helie's theory of forming affinity with an attribute I tried to shock myself with electricity. I used a wire with less output which would only give me shock and wouldn't kill me.
'Hah , I'm pretty dumb. I should think again of whether I should do it or not.'
I thought for few seconds and came to one conclusion.
'Lets do this anyways.'
With that I turned on the button and felt a surge of electricity in my hand , even though the output was less I could feel my hands going numb. After few seconds the numbness turned into pain at this point I decided to turn off the switch.
With my legs I was somehow able to reach the button and switched off the current. Suddenly in thin air a white message appeared before me.

「 1 of 8 attributes has been unlocked 」

The first time I shocked myself , I obtained one of the most powerful attribute in existence.

In a room sat a group people in robes , the robes they wore were some of the best robes made by 'Camb'. These provided protection as well as had a mana storage in them , although the world was dominated by mages there was another group of people to fear of known as swordsman and magic swordsman.
Hence in order to provide protection against their physical damage Camb robes were the best you could get. In the black robes sat 29 people and besides these 29 one special person sat on a big chair in white suit.
"Hey why doesn't he wear a robe? Does he thinks that no one can attack or kill him?"
The one who said these words was a newbie who recently joined this guild , which was why he was clueless about the leader. He thought that the person in white suit was nothing much than the brain of this guild , but his assumption were wrong.
"Don't talk like that unless you want to get killed , fortunately only I was the one who heard that. If any other member heard you you would've been dead till now , don't go talking sh*t about the things you don't know."
He looked at the man sitting in the chair and said in low voice ,
"Do you know how many people he have killed till now?"

"1028 these are the number of people he has killed till now."
"Hey isn't that just double of how much I've killed? What's so special about him?"
"The number I just told you was only of the people with Lightning , Ice and Tree attribute. He's a professional assassin- no assassin atleast try to be stealthy , this crazy b*stard just kills the target infront of the officials."
"You know about the court accident of 20XX right , the one in which 3 high tier mages died. He blew the walls of 'Supreme Court of Mages' and killed those 3 the security were helpless , the judge which was the also one of the high tier mage was defeated by him. He did all this just to bang his friends girlfriend , as your friend I say you stay away from him."
Fenery also known as Fen was the leader of the most vicious guild 'Deathers' , everybody feared him because all the violent things he has done.
'This man is really a crazy motherf*cker , who risks their life and try to kill high tier mages just to have s*x with a person.'
One of the black robe came infront Fen and kneeled down as he said ,
"Master , Magic Academy just registered an attributeless person on their database."
Saying that a paper with information of the attributeless mage was placed before Fen.
"Hoh , it's been months since I killed the last attributeless. I wonder how annoying this b*tch will be. Let's kill him before this chick start flying."
