Chaos Mist continuously streamed in from the outside until it reached the range covered by the light. There, it suddenly accelerated and shot into the light spot with a 'swoosh' sound.
"Indeed, the light spot is attracting the Chaos Mist, but strangely, they are blocked from getting closer," Negris leaned in, peering upwards from below.
Everyone crowded closer. With little space left below, Monarch yanked off the covering cloth. Instantly, the light from the spot illuminated everywhere.
The surrounding mist on the platform began to churn and no longer flowed along the ground, but instead darted towards the location of the light spot. The rushing mist sped up and soon formed several whirlpools, seemingly about to transform into a tornado.
Ange quickly pulled out another black cloth and covered the light spot again.
Without the light spot, the mists calmed down and ceased their turbulent flow.
