Ange shook his head blankly, clueless. He didn't have the Dragon God's memories on the subject; maybe the memories hadn't been found, or perhaps they had been, but Ange hadn't awakened to them.
"Oh, maybe there's none, after all. If even the God of Trees is helpless, it must be really tough. Forget it, I'm going to eat something. Remember to look for me if you recall anything, um—" the Hole Bug said, holding its breath for a moment, and materialized a blue gemstone that floated in front of Ange: "Remember to look for me."
After saying that, it shrank back into the hole. It had been stretching outward, but since most of its body was still on the other side, drawing back was much easier. It zoomed back in a flash.
Perhaps because it had been stretched before, the hole crackled and vanished after the Hole Bug had retracted.
"It's gone... just like that? I had so many questions to ask," Anthony lamented.
