That was a tuft of pure white light, pure and free of any impurities. But quickly, the light transformed, shifting from white to red, turning into a blob of red light.
The red light flickered for a while, then slowly deepened, first turning blueish red, to purplish blue, to blackish purple, and eventually became a blob of black light. It seemed to absorb all the surrounding sunlight, with the brightness diminishing the closer one got to the light.
