Goddess of Starfire, Light of Creation, Purgatory Twins, Alba, and others were all Ancient God Hunters nurtured by Abyssal Big Mouth. Their primary mission was to hunt the Ancient Gods.
The Chaos Plane was a vast place, like the hideout where Drosa hid, continuously expansive. Even formidable existences such as the Void Will and the Undead Ruler couldn't completely eliminate creatures from these nooks and crannies.
The hideout didn't only harbor Ancient Gods; many parasitic species that relied on the Ancient Gods for survival also lived there, like the Goblins raised by Nightmare Saya or the fleas on the Serpent of Misfortune. Eradicating these species required Alba's Holy Spirit Army.
As for the Ancient Gods themselves, that was the task of Ancient God Hunters like the Goddess of Starfire.
