I look down at the ground, starting to feel my blood boil in my veins and my head nearly getting hot. "You don't have to do that. You don't. I don't want you to. There's nothing standing between us anymore. There never was. It was our stupidity and inexperience with another person that made this situation so complex. It's not like we can give each other space or stay friends because I know for a fact that we will always end up together eventually."
"But I'm not good enough for you, Athena," He yelled back at me. "I don't want to disappoint you. I don't want to end up being the one that hurts you again. What if--- a girl comes between us and I hurt you again?"
"You won't," I screamed at him.
He gave me a pained look, and I could see the vein on his neck protruding in anger. "And how are you so sure about that?"
"Because if you're really in love with me like you say you are, you will try never to hurt me again."
