I rushed through the hospital hallways as directed by the receptionist with a load of people behind me, even Aiden. Ari and Nolan were right behind me, along with Gabe, Brayden, Easton, and Daxton. Cayden and Lucas stayed at home as instructed by Eva.
As I ran down the hall, I couldn't help but think of the worst. I can't lose him too. He's all I have. I know I shouldn't be freaking out badly. But whenever I remember the hospital, I remember the pain my mother inflicted on me and how much she took from me.
Ari's hand squeezed mine, making me turn to her. "Breathe, Thea! He's okay." I nodded, hoping she was right.
