Chapter 22 - 22. Deadly Wind Guild

"Your Majesty, isn't there, Sir Louis? He will be the one to keep the Princess safe when she visits the knight training grounds." Wendy gives advice on the confusion Victor is facing. Wendy knew that Victor loved Ursilla very much and was worried that something bad would happen again.

This made Victor unconsciously make Ursilla cry for refusing his daughter's request loudly. Now, Victor looks guilty of his rude attitude.

Victor massaged his temples, only when it came to his sons and daughters, he always made decisions carefully to the point of accidentally ignoring some important facts. "Ah, I didn't think like you at the time, Wendy. I really didn't think much of it before turning down Silla's request."

Wendy smiled knowingly, for Victor, Ursilla's safety was the most important so that sometimes the man would give a firm refusal without a second thought.

Seeing Victor who was silent while looking at the peaceful face of Ursilla who was sleeping, Wendy said goodbye. Before closing the door completely, Wendy saw Victor lying down beside Ursilla.

"His Majesty truly dotes on Princess Silla."

Deadly Wind Guild.

Unions trade information at the request of the customer and also provide services to make confidential deliveries. The place where all the transactions happen is in a coffee shop.

A man, in a black robe that covered part of his body and face, entered the coffee shop where the Deadly Wind Guild was operating. The man occupied the empty table. Not long after, a male servant approached him, asking what the man wanted.

"Sweet coffee to drink during the day."

After the man said his wish, the male servant was silent for a while, then carved a wider smile. The male servant stretched out one hand to show the man the way. "Please follow me, sir. Sweet coffee will be served soon."

There is one thing that needs to be done if you want to use the services of the Deadly Wind Guild. You just need to say the password the man spoke earlier. The man's words didn't sound suspicious. However, upon closer inspection, the sentence actually has a different meaning.

Sweet coffee means the impossible. This is because sugar has a high price, so sweet coffee is rare in the Victoria Kingdom. Therefore, food and drinks that require sugar have always been an expensive menu in the Victoria Kingdom.

Drink during the day. The meaning of those words was clear, that it could be possible. So, when combined, it means the impossible, it could be possible.

The man wearing a black robe followed the coffee shop waiter. They started to stay away from places where there had been many visitors before. After turning, the maid stopped, but it was just a dead end with no door to enter a room.

"Wait a minute, sir." The male servant approached the corner, his palm pressed against the wall as if pressing against something.

Shortly after, the male servant withdrew his hand that was previously stuck to the wall. The place where his palm had previously been, appeared a magic circle with a complicated pattern.

The male servant raised her hand and injected the mana that had gathered on his index finger into the magic circle. The magic circle started to flicker then shone brightly, making the black-robed man have to close his eyes for a moment.

"Sir, please come in. There is someone waiting inside."

The male servant's voice again made the man open his eyes. Miraculously, the previously clear wall had no door, suddenly there was a door with a strange carving. The man snorted coldly, he came to this place taking a high risk. If it wasn't for urgency, he wouldn't necessarily have come to a place that was common knowledge among the aristocrats.

"I'll come in."

The black robed man opened the door and entered the room. The first thing he saw was a simple room, ranging from bookshelves, tables, and chairs, all made of wood. This was beyond the expectation of the man, who thought his secret room would look 'wow' when he entered it.

"Wow, look who's here to enjoy the sweet coffee! Today, it turns out that many people are thirsty, huh."

The man put on a wary attitude when he heard a man's voice. He looked around but saw no one in the room. The man growled. "Who are you?! Come out! Show yourself and don't play cheap tricks with me!"

Silence.

There was no answer to the man's words. The man's eyes were closed tightly, his sense of hearing began to be made as sharp as possible. Adjust the breath sound to match the heartbeat.

Whoosh.

"Gotcha!" The man suddenly took out a sword from the scabbard that was on his waist. The shiny surface of the sword stretched out to the side, with the tip of the sword pointed in the air.

"Oh, your sword almost hit me. This face of mine is so precious. How could you want to scratch my important asset, Sir..."

The voice, from before, rang out again as someone appeared in front of the sword tip of the black-robed man. The man narrowed his eyes to see that the person who appeared suddenly had an appearance that made his eyes hurt.

"Morgan Winter Knight, Grand Duke of Eirlys. The youngest Grand Duke in the history of the Victoria Kingdom. What is it that a great person like you has come here for?"

Hearing the annoying voice, the black-robed man — Morgan — removed the hood that partially covered his face. Morgan smiled coldly, jaw clenched. "Shut your mouth and do what you have to do!"

Oliver Sykes. A beautiful man with long wavy red hair with moles under his eyes which adds to his beauty. Oliver was now standing with a chuckle, his head tilted to the side with the tip of Morgan's sword. Oliver's face almost got scratched by the tip of the sword. Just imagining it, Oliver already shuddered.

"Grand Duke, aren't you being too brave? How can you point a sword at the person you're going to ask for help?" Oliver put away Morgan's sword with the fan he was holding.

Morgan immediately put the sword back on his waist. Jet black hair and sparkling red eyes stared at Oliver with an unfriendly gaze.

"Oliver, don't ever reveal my identity. If anyone finds out that I'm in this place, I will flatten this place and kill you!"

The smile on Oliver's face instantly receded, the man closed the fan and walked over to the table. Oliver sat with his hands together to support his chin with his elbows on the table. "So... why did you come here, sir?"

Morgan took the letter, tucked into his clothes. This was a message he had to send to someone in secret. Morgan had to come to a place that provides secret mail delivery services and even seeks confidential information from someone if there is a request from a customer.

"Send this letter to ghost town, there will be someone who will receive a letter from me." Morgan put down a letter with a cold face. The young Grand Duke's gaze fell on Oliver to notice how the man reacted.
