Ursilla watched Veera's back climbing the stairs behind the maid. She turned her back to the antagonist as soon as she saw that Veera had climbed the last rung. A heavy sigh escaped Ursilla's mouth.
The princess wiped the cold sweat that filled her temples. "I can hardly believe that I was the one who helped her enter the palace by helping her register for the competition."
Ursilla pursed her lips. She is reminded of Veera's concern about conflict between ladies. A cold smile was etched on Ursilla's face, with eyes filled with cruelty.
