Embracing the quiet as I sit in my chair stationed to the far side to the right of the room, with my readers on positioned snuggly on my face as I read.
Reading for a little while longer, now closing the book because I have finished the chapter, leaving the book in my lap as it is closed now, I get a bothersome feeling in my bones.
As these years feel like they have gone so fast since the passing of my friend Vic, coming to grips with the pain that still lingers in my heart for wanting to chat it up with him but can't. I still take it day by day to move on, but unfortunately for some of us his death has brought out a yearning to avenge him, and truth be told that concerns me.
Rising up out of my seat with the book I was reading grasped in my left hand, walking over to the only window in me and my wife's chambers, opened since it's a clear and tranquil day, staring out as I think about my sons on how they are growing into fine young lads. But as I keep thinking about them and pondering about once, they reach their twenty's, I will have to select the next ruler when it is time when I can't protect this kingdom no longer.
Lamenting on that thought as I picture and see how each one of my boys has shown promise, with my visage feeling gloomy at thinking about just one that I didn't think would concern me so, since he was different when he was an adolescent, I say with a forlorn tone amidst the quiet breeze that blows in my room, Dante my son please don't let your hatred consume you my boy.
