At the break of dawn, there was a knock on the door. Clara woke up and sprinted to the door but found out it wasn't Norix.
"Sir Hosa?" She asked in confusion. "Why are you here?"
Sir Hosa handed her a change of clothes. "Quick. I need you to head to a market in kingdom Sindon. Someone wants to grant a favor for me. His name is Erin."
Clara looked at Sir Hosa with a confused look. "Kingdom Sindon? Why is it somehow familiar? Have I been there before?"
Sir Hosa shook his head. "Not yet. I require you to go there quickly. Head North until you find a caravan. Stay with the caravan and enter the gates. When a guard asks you why you're there, say 'Erin is here.' and he'll let you in."
Clara took the clothes from Hosa, but she nervously asked. "Last time you told me to get something, there'd be a break of war."
Hosa shook his head. "I promise, there won't be. But whatever happens, you should run to the forest as quickly as you could just like before."
Clara nodded. "Okay..." she whispered.
For the last four kingdoms, sir Hosa would use Clara as a distraction for other kingdoms as the battalion would enter afterward. This has worked for 4 wars straight. He just hopes that Clara would always run to safety. Clara would always think that it would be a coincidence and only has told Hosa 1 war instead of four.
'Forgive me, Clara. Doing this, we'll repay Theon for his kindness.'
Hosa shuts the door as he gives Clara time to change into a maiden's clothes and wore a white veil as usual.
"Will there be another war? I hope not." Clara whispered to herself as she wore the veil that covers her whole face.
Clara locks the door behind her and the guards of the kingdom let her out since they knew about sending a maiden to Sindon.
Clara makes her way at North, admiring the surrounding forestry. It was about an hour later when she saw a small caravan with grains and dairy. She went with the caravan and she was at the last of the line.
When it was her turn, the guards told her to halt.
"State your business." One of the tall guards said.
Clara gulped and whispered. "Erin is here."
Both of the guards looked at her and grabbed her by her arm. Clara began to panic. She was never treated like this from the past four kingdoms.
Both the guards held a great grip on her and she began to tell them off. "Where are you taking me-" One of the guards covered her mouth over her veil and they happened to bump into someone.
"we apologize sir." The guards said as they held Clara tightly.
After what seemed like an eternity, they entered a secret passageway to the castle. The guard released his hand on Clara and they began to reach the palace dungeons.
Clara was horrified as she looked around the place. Many men were in shackles. Many were hung on the wall. Some were rotting in their cells and other men can be heard screaming as whiplashes were heard echoing from the walls.
The guards entered an unused cell and began to tie Clara's arms wrists and legs together. "You have the wrong person." Clara said. She pleaded with the guards one more time before they locked the cell door. She was left on the cold ground.
"Norix...help me." She whispered to herself in the cell. She crawled to the far end of the cell and started to wait. In hopes that anyone would save her from here.
