Chapter 30 Ballroom Blitz
Huff! Huff! Breathing heavily, Pap and Lizzie franticly dash up the steps. Sweating profusely while still treading up the stairs, Pap turns to Lizzie on his right and says, We huff! huff! Almost at the end of these stairs yet? Glancing back at him with focused eyes, Lizzie says, yeah almost I think huff! huff! Just a couple more! Facing forward looking up the steps, Lizzie says in her mind, hopefully Ver is doing alright!
Level 5 Ballroom
Zooming across the ballroom like mice scurrying in a maze, Ver and Rint are having clash after clash. stopping near the left side of the room, throwing a flurry of sharp fiery punches at one another. Grabbing Rint's left arm Ver swings Rint into the wall, nimble like a gymnast Rint automatically bends both his legs and presses his feet on the wall to cushion the force. Bouncing off, breaking from Ver's clutches Rint glides over Ver and lands on his left side. Looking at Ver with a egotistical filled gaze past his green and orange bangs Rint says, nice try Mr. Intruder! Lifting up his left hand, it turns into a metallic gold pistol. Quickly pointing it at Ver, upon seeing this immediately lifting up his right leg Ver kicks Rint's left arm down and says, finally! Were starting to have a real match! Oh and by the way the names Ver freaky eyes!
