Chapter 4 Sal White!
White, that's all I see while walking. A hail of snow pelts my jacket as I walk through this frozen tundra. I do my best to keep warm while trekking through this vast landscape of ice and nothingness, the jacket I'm wearing is a big orange and black puffy snow jacket. Each foot step I take feels like I'm walking on ruff but soft clouds, but let me not bore you about my attire or the scenery. You probably want to know why I'm walking through this big white slushy place.
To tell you the truth I'm after another bounty. I heard from some locals at the last town I was at I could find my next target at a place called Gaelic Town. Cccccrc! The sound of a wagon plows through the snow. Still trotting forward focused on his path, Ver doesn't hear the on coming wagon. Pulling beside Ver is a old man with green pointy hair that extends in all directions, glancing over and looking down at Ver seating a top his seat in his mobile. His yellow eyes focused on the young 25 year old wondering to himself, what's he doing out here?
Finally the old man utters a word and says, hey young lad do you need a lift? Ver turns with a blank expression strewn across his stubbly face and says, What? Do you need a ride? The old man comments again. Ver finally processing what the older man is asking him, replying back with a smile on his face Ver says, sure I could use a lift! The old man stops his horse thus stopping the wagon to a halt. giving a big warm smile the old man says, hop a board youngin! Ver walks up to the wagon, he lifts up one leg climbing inside the big mobile.
Once in Ver finds a nice comfortable spot in the back of the wagon. Now settled in his seat the old man says, let's ride! Lifting up his hands holding the reins he whips them with a quick stroke signaling his horse to start it's gate once more. Now back in motion barreling through the snow. Shifting his eyes back toward Ver the old man says, so what's a young feller like yourself doing in a place like this? Looking relaxed Ver replies, I'm looking for someone sir. Replying back the old man says, out here? An who might you be looking for? Sitting up out of his relaxed position Ver says, I'm looking for a certain man to discuss some business. Intrigued the old man replies and says, oh I see how interesting. So what place does he reside in? Ver commenting back, I heard it's a place called Gaelic Town. With a surprised look on his face the old man says, Gaelic Town huh! Well you best be careful staying in that town, I hear it's like a dictatorship now. All because some wanted criminal named Sal White rolled on in. Looking with a serious expression Ver leans back in his seat and says, hmm Sal White you say.
