It was a nice sunny day, but there was a problem in a certain small village known throughout the Laim Kingdom for its amazing skills in constructing chairs and toilets. The meat in the village wasn't properly stored, so it all went bad overnight. Everyone was sad, no meat could be eaten today since the hunters only go out every few days, and yesterday was one of those days. Although the hunters said they would go out early the next morning it did not improve the mood of the villagers.
"WE WILL GET FISH BEFORE LUNCH TIME!!!" 3 of the men that lived in the village volunteered. They too wanted meat, especially for lunch. With that said their adventure began as everyone in the village cheered, they were true heroes. They ran quickly to a nearby river that had large quantities of fish swimming upstream this time of year. They were all geared up, one had a bow, another had a sword, and the last one carried two fishing rods, a large basket, and a thin blanket sized cloth to wrap around the basket.
"I see something by the river." The man with the bow stopped as he spoke.
"If you think we can kill it, then shoot." The man with the sword seemed annoyed.
"It's doing something weird." The man with the fishing supplies added as they all stopped there and started looking at the creature in the distance.
"That's what I was trying to say. I think it might be grabbing fish out of the river." The three men kept trying to get a better look while keeping their distance.
*CRACK
"SHOOT!" The three of them wanted to look down but the creature that started moving and the shout from the swordsman allowed the bowman to immediately pull back his bowstring and fire an arrow at the creature. While the swordsman and bowman ran after the creature the man with fishing supplies looked down, and it turns out he stepped on a stick and it broke in half.
The creature, after hearing a loud cracking sound and someone shouting the word shoot, wanted to look towards the source of the sounds, but the dangerous feeling came back. Although it was much less than the dangerous feeling that came from the human-dragon hybrid it still made the creature immediately attempt to retreat. The creature felt a sudden pain in its back 'did I just get shot by a gun?' the creature turned to look back at the humans pursuing it. The creature was a bit confused as it kept gaining random pieces of memory from its previous life, it now recalled that guns made a loud bang sound as it looked at the human with the bow. 'I'm a human too, why are you trying to kill me?' the creature practically cried out in its mind.
[Evolution Chosen]
The creature killed a lot of fish from the river after realizing that each one gave 75 EXP and 1 of each stat and had just gotten the evolution options before the villagers showed up and attacked it. A sharp pain came swiftly and the creature transformed into the form of a human child.

A small human covered by a black cloak was standing in the middle of the river facing the two men that arrived at the spot it previously occupied.
"Excuse me, you what are you doing in the water, it is almost winter time so you will probably catch a cold by being in there?" The swordsman started speaking worriedly towards the black cloaked figure.
"Ah, eh, oh, he-l-lo." The creature successfully tested out if it could speak.
"Oh, let me help you out! You must be freezing in there!" The swordsman quickly jumped in and rushed to the creature mistaking the testing as a mispronounced cry for help. "You're injured! You are bleeding a lot, let me carry you." The creature complied with a nod and the man swiftly picked it up in a princess carry and took it to the shore.
"Did you see any large bat-like creature from inside the river?" The bowman asked once the creature was carried to the shore.
"No."
"Why are you out here all alone at your age?" The bowman knew something was up, he was really doubting that there was any reason for some 5 or 6 year old to be standing in the middle of the river in a creepy black cloak that seems awfully familiar to the bat monster he just saw.
"My family lived near here, but they were killed by a monster so I am wearing black to mourn their death." Both of the men were shocked to hear this, they didn't know how to respond.
"What happened to the bat monster?" The fisherman just now arrived and broke the silence.
"It got away, grab that fish and let's head back." The swordsman swiftly commanded with a sigh as the fisherman looked down at the 16 fish lying dead on the shore.
~~~
"Where are we going?" The creature asked while looking up at the sky, she was bored of being carried.
"The three of us live in the world famous village of Henalifousug." The fisherman calmly pronounced the name showing off his life experience from living in the village.
"Should you be talking, I thought you were injured?" Asked the bowman.
"Yes, we should hurry up and get there right away!" The swordsman really didn't want someone to die in his arms.
"I'm fine, just take your time, I think the injury on my back has already healed."
"Don't worry, it's not your time to die yet! Calm down, our doctor will patch you up!" The swordsman worked hard reassuring himself that she wouldn't die since they finally returned to the village. "Everyone move aside, I have an injured person here!"
"And I have lots of fish!" The fisherman shouted out and the people gathered around him. In a village of slightly more than 50 people the 16 fish wasn't enough for one full meal but it was enough to add some meat to each person's lunch.
"She seems fine, I cleaned the wound so it should heal nicely within a few days." The doctor noticed that she was a girl but noticed nothing else out of the ordinary. The creature however noticed that the limited flight function was not available without the black cloak on.
"What's your name?" The doctor asked after the checkup.
"Ah!" Both of the men that brought her here gasped when they realized that they never asked the creature for a name. Not answering the question the monster looked towards the bowman. 'You figured that I am the bat monster, so can you help me think of a name?'
"No need to be shy, the doctor is a nice person." The bowman smiled brightly and innocently. 'He doesn't know?!?!'
