Chapter 13 - The fanservice scene we all have been waiting for!

"Let the Sports' Day… commence!"

With those final words of Kazue's speech as the President of Niwa Mura High's Student Council, the whole school field was filled with cheer as both students and teachers roared.

Niwa Mura High's 30th Sports' Day was finally here and all the athletes were pumped up for their respective courses as the students cheered for their team's victory.

It was a day where the boys could show off their best sides to the girls while the girls could show off their best 'sides' to the boys. Nevertheless, it was a day filled with excitement and neverending battles.

Of course, this was all thanks to the student council's hard work that allowed the event to run as smoothly as they had hoped. With that, the student council's job was over and it was time to once again show off why they were at the top of their food chain.

Yoshida Kazue, the President who gave the motivational speech just now was the ace of the basketball club. As all of his skilful dunks were slammed, so did his opponent's morale. With his long silky hair and his revealing clothing that would fail to hide his chiselled six-packs, he was already committing adultery left and right without lifting a finger on the girls.

As for our Vice President, Hoshino Yusuke, he too was not a person one should turn away from. He may be a studious person but people forgot that he was the master of all trades. Yusuke was the ace of the soccer club. Alongside his trusty striker, Hiroyuki Kazama, they dribbled their way to victory for his team.

Jin 'Akamatsu' Anand was the 'voice' of the tug of war for the red team. He may not be the strongest member of the team, but it was his charisma and voice that strengthened the resolve of his team. After a heated battle against Kazue, Yusuke and Hiroyuki in the opponent's team, he became the winner's MVP.

As for the girls, Sora was a beast. She took part in the track and field's high jump for the red team. She may be short but after watching a single high jump video a few weeks before, she had masterfully perfected her jump and leapt her way into a flawless victory. She was known as 'Sky High' that day among the students and ended up trending on the school's social media.

Shiori Tanaka and Yuuna Sagawa weren't an athletic bunch but they were part of the cheerleading squad. As each cheered for their respective teams, the whole atmosphere livened up and made the whole event felt like a non-stop party.

Keiko Royama who was hardly in the limelight also had the opportunity to steal the show during the female's short distance race. She may not have won the race but she had won the heart of a certain boy in puberty. That boy would be Nobuo as he won't stop telling Hiroyuki how much he had a crush on her. Hiroyuki knew that he was quite serious but also knew that he was the type to switch girls immediately after a failed confession Thus, he could only say his usual catchphrase before moving on with his day.

Eventually, it was time for the male's long-distance rally as it was both Hiroyuki and Nobuo's turn to shine. Three members of each team would compete in the race and points will be gathered based on their final positions.

However, for both Hiroyuki and Nobuo, it wasn't about getting first place…

It was about kicking each other's asses.

As the gun fired, the race began. Nobuo and Hiroyuki were neck-to-neck all the way through. They would rest and sprint at the same time, all while making sure they were one head ahead of the other. This was where their rivalry was challenged and also the deciding fate to who's the better rival.

The cheerleaders were not in their position during the event but were merged with the crowd to cheer alongside them while rooting for their favourite runners.

Yuuna, who wasn't even in the same team as Hiroyuki would cheer for him. And every time Hiroyuki heard her voice, he would always take the lead.

Shidoni, who wasn't even in the same team as Nobuo would cheer for him. And every time Nobuo heard her voice, he would always take the lead. '

Eventually, they were approaching the finish line. Nobuo made one final push and kept two heads ahead of Hiroyuki, leaving him behind. When Nobuo could almost taste victory and the tears of sadness from Hiroyuki's loss, Shiori came out and shout a sentence that would also become the talk of the day.

"If you win, Nobuo-senpai! I will reward you tonight!"

Nobuo was surprised and shocked by the words that came out of that woman's mouth. With the advantage presented to his rival, Hiroyuki quickly took it and crossed the finishing line.

As they both finished their race, the both of them laid on the ground as they realized they were both at the bottom two placings. They could only laugh it off as they shared another fist bump with sweat drenching their sports uniform.

However, Nobuo may be putting on a smile, he also remembered that Shiori wasn't on his team and it was most likely her plan to make sure he lost the race at the final moment. With that in mind, he reminded himself to make sure to give her a piece of his mind when the day was over.

And soon, it was time for the fans' favourite and also the final event of the day, the 'Bo-taoshi'. 'Bo-taoshi' is essentially a capture-the-flag like game. However, by the power of the student council's decree, the rules were changed.

Each team will have 100 members on each side. Among those 100 members, three of them has a special position. These positions were a 'commander', a 'second-in-command' and a 'traitor'. The rest was free for all.

The 'commander' and 'second-in-command' can only oversee the battle and not take part in the actual game itself while the 'traitor' was to wear the colour of the opponent's headband on their forehead.

The goal was to grab the traitor's bandana on the opponent's team, who will most likely be seated on top of the pole. The catch is, nobody was to know who is the 'traitor', they would have to guess based on the colour of the headbands.

And the best part is…

It was mixed gender, thus both boys and girls are to take part, allowing more diverse strategy.

Thanks to the flawed diplomacy of Niwa Mura High's voting system exploited by Kazue, this would be the final event before the closing ceremony of Niwa Mura High's 30th Sports' Day…

And the deciding match for which team will be the victor.

The white team…

Or the red team...

The white team was led by Kazue with Yusuke as his 'second-in-command' while the red team was led by Nobuo with Jin as his 'second-in-command'.

With everyone in places and the commanders stood on the podium at each end of the field, it was time for the battle of their lifetime.

291/650

"Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!"

As the whistle blew by the referee, the final event of Niwa Mura High's Sports' Day had begun.

"Initiate 'Attack of Titan'!"

"Let's go, white team!"

With the roar of the voices of Kazue and Yusuke's respectively, their plan was in motion. A herd of twenty jocks charged forward as they rampaged towards the red team's pole. They were all scary men as if they didn't look like high school students. However, before they could ram into the opponent's team, they were stopped in their paths.

"What's wrong?!"

"Commander! Look!"

As Kazue squinted his eyes and look towards his opponents. He noticed two things.

One, his opponent wasn't attacking. There were no charges, no ambushes and not a single backstabber appearing behind his team. There was nothing. Which could only mean one thing…

Nobuo used all of his troops on defence.

Which let two the second thing he noticed.

The outer layer of his defence was all female.

Nobuo knew that Kazue would use all his female troops on defence too as he would send his men on offence. Therefore, Nobuo made sure his pole was surrounded by the frailest, most petite, most gentle girls in his team to keep the jocks away from rampaging through his line of defence.

"How did you like that, Mr President! I used my weakest shield to protect myself from your strongest sword. I encapsulated my men with two layers of girls to make the ultimate defence system! I call this… Project 'Harem Time'. Ahahahahaha."

Nobuo exclaimed as if he was the antagonist to a battle manga. Jin who wore two bandanas on his head turned and looked at Nobuo with disgust but also with respect.

"Man, you sure are a cunning bastard. I like it."

"Dammit," Kazue said as he bit his nails. "He's good."

"And I'm not done yet!"

"No way!" Yusuke said with surprise.

As Nobuo said with his arms raised. He immediately went into an eighth-grade syndrome pose, with his right hand on his face, encapsulating it all except for his right eye. He then raised his left hand and pointed towards his opponent's traitor's headband that was within his sight.

316/650

"Initiate, Project 'Quill Spray'."

With those magic words, the petite girls that were protecting the boys from behind them opened up a path. Suddenly 20 girls came running out of the bunch in all direction and went running towards the opponent at high speed. One of them being the ace of the red team, Koizumi Sora.

She quickly reached the opponent's foundation and was first to reach them. She then leapt on top of it and started to weaken it by pushing the girls apart.

"This guy's got as much as skill as you do. What's your plan now, Mr President?

"What are you going to do now, Mr President. Muahahahahahaha!"

Nobuo said as he made his evil laugh. Jin couldn't contain himself as he also joined in on the fun. Jin then further provoked Kazue by acting like his old self.

"C'mon, prez! Show me your worst. Weren't you the ultimate strategist? Or is that all that weak-ass brain of yours can come up with?"

"He got us good," Yusuke said as he looked towards Kazue that was sweating buckets. "What do we do now?"

Kazue closed his eyes and thought about how the plans he had formulated for this battle. In the end, he had no choice but to use his most dangerous emergency plan.

"Shinjuku Street."

"But sire, our reputation…"

"Just do it!"

Kazue shouted as if he had given up on keeping up a good look for the people around him. Yusuke then clicked his tongue and told his troops to move on to the next plan.

"Initiate 'Shinjuku Street'!"

The battlefield went silent.

361/650

Not long after that, the jocks that were stopped in their way towards the red team's defence walked aside and made a path. And within the sight of the red team's commander and second-in-command, they saw their plan's greatest weakness.

"Oh no…" Nobuo said as he dropped the eight-grade syndrome act.

"I can't believe it," Jin said as he had his jaw dropped to the ground.

What came out behind the group of jocks were 5 girls.

And they weren't just any girls.

"Why did we have to go along with his plans."

"Isn't it fine? We got paid to do this after all."

"Also, didn't you say you are into exhibitionism?"

"Well, regardless, this seems fun so I played along."

"Let's get this over quick. I got an old dude waiting for me afterwards and I ain't gonna ditch him."

What appeared behind the jocks were the school's famous five 'gyarus'. The richest, bitchiest and prettiest girls in the prestigious elite school such as Niwa Mura High.

All the boys in the school wanted their hands on them, regardless as their boyfriend or as their personal cumdump. No one was going to let that chance slide and no one is going to stay calm when presented the opportunity.

Which would be the worst-case scenario for the red team.

398/650

"Go my girls, show them your best!"

With a shout of command from Kazue the commander, the girls began to pose in front of the crowd and especially to the boys behind the shield that is their foundation to stable the red team's pole.

"Come here, baby~"

"You want some of this~"

"I'll show you a better time than your girlfriend~"

"Let it go~"

"Believe in me that believes in you!"

All the girls said their piece despite one being very out of place. The boys that were supporting the foundation of the pole begun to crumble as the boys were in chaos. The petite girls that were encapsulating the boys were now in disarray.

However, it was salvageable…

That was until…

"Now with the final push… Go!"

Kazue said without shame as he initiated the final phase of his 'Shinjuku Street' plan.

With a roar of their commander, the five gyarus made their final 'push' with the sexiest pose. With their butts and chests pushed out as far as a fully developed teenager could, they had made a picture-perfect for an alcohol advertisement.

With that, the entire crowd roared in ecstasy as they feast their eyes on the wondrous sight. The teachers turned away in disgust and the headmaster was contemplating if making Kazue as the president was a good choice or not.

As for the head librarian who was in Nobuo's team, looked towards Kazue in terror. And because she was in their sight, Nobuo and Jin were prepared to know a breakup was upon them.

At this point, the foundation of the red team's pole can never be recovered anymore. The jocks had already intercepted their destroyed defences and made a path towards the pole where the traitor was spotted.

"Now, Hiroyuki! lead us to victory!" Kazue shouted as he pointed towards the opponent's traitor's bandana in his sight.

"Dammit, why always me…"

Hiroyuki said as he reluctantly but hastily ran towards the goal from the core of the white team's pole's foundation. At this point, the battle was already lost and victory was in Kazue's sight.

"Well, luck was always on his side after all and Kazue had always been a sore loser. It was fun working as your second-in-command, Nobuo-dono. I'll see you on the other side."

"The pleasure's all mine, Jin-dono. But I'm not going down like this. If I'm going to lose the match, I'm going to at least win the battle. Initiate Project 'Shadow Clone'!"

Hiroyuki ignored the final execution of Nobuo's plan and immediately leapt over the crowd as he reached towards the traitor's bandana. However, midway through he noticed that the traitor had removed his bandana and handed it over to the person beside him.

Hiroyuki couldn't stop as he leaping midair and immediately rammed into the person's chest. However, it wasn't a rough landing or a hard one…

But it was a soft landing.

431/650

The red team's pole had fallen down. As it hit the ground, a gust of dust blew across the field, disrupting everybody's vision. The crowd went silent and waited for the dust to subside.

Hiroyuki was the first to open his eyes but the first thing he saw was a face of a young girl with glasses and braided pigtails…

And two white bouncy hills.

Hiroyuki quickly got up and sat on the ground as he quickly apologized to the person that provided him with the fanservice.

"Ah! I'm so sorry, Yuuna! I didn't mean to!"

"It's okay, Kazama-senpai," Yuuna who had already sat up straight giggled in accordance with the turn of events. "This was supposed to happen."

As soon as Yuuna forgave Hiroyuki with a smile, the lucky boy then quickly pointed at Nobuo that was on a podium in front of him.

"Dammit Nobuo, you and your dirty little trick, I swear I'm gonna…"

"Thank me? Sure, I'll be waiting."

As Nobuo finished his sentence, the view was cleared and everyone had noticed the white bandana on Hiroyuki's hand. The crowd cheered as the victor for both the event and the day belonged to the white team.

With that, it was time for the ending ceremony.

Kazue and Nobuo met again on stage at the ending ceremony. They both shared a handshake as they exchanged a few words.

"That was a great battle, Nobuo, I didn't know you had it in you."

"No. I don't deserve to have the privilege to be praised by the strongest being of the school. Your victory was assured before the battle began."

"Nobuo, I had never once thought of you anyone but my equal. You deserved everything."

"In that case, you have my thanks, Mr President."

"In fact, why not join try out for the student council? You would make a fine addition to the team."

Nobuo thought about it a little. As he looked at the seriousness on Kazue's face, he could only answer the way he would not be disappointed at.

"I'll think about it."

On that day, the student of Niwa Mura High received a grim reminder. That the 'Bo-taoshi' was to revert back to its old rules by the changes of the PTA.

.

.

The Sports' Day drew to a close as everyone had returned home.

Well almost everyone as the student council were left behind to tidy up the school field. Such was the task of the esteemed elite students of an elite school.

"So," Jin said as he picked up an empty can of beer from the ground. "How did Ms Head Librarian take it? After all, you did make a name for paying those girls to do the dirty work for you."

"Oh. Us? We broke up."

"Wait, what?"

"Don't worry about it. I wanted to call it off for a while now. Thought it was best to end things this way."

Sora who was changing a new pair of plastic gloves threw the used gloves into the trash can as if it was Kazue.

"Trash."

"You could have done a lot better you know," Yusuke said as he stacked up the last bit of chairs laid across the school field. "If I was her, I'll do more than just break up with you."

"It's fine. It's fine. It made a good show and that's all it matters."

Hiroyuki who didn't pay any attention to the conversation came running towards them, trying to look for their missing member. He then called out to the rest of the members of the student council.

"Hey, do you guys know where Yuuna is? She was supposed to be back from her toilet break. She told me to wait for her at our usual spot and she just went missing."

Everyone turned and looked at Hiroyuki who was still acting dumb. Everyone facepalmed themselves in unison as they told Hiroyuki off.

"Dude! I can't believe you are this dense. Holy shit."

"Well, I expected as much seeing how this guy was always slow on things."

"I guess there is someone out there that is less street smart than I am."

"She's waiting for you at the student council room. Go. We'll handle the rest."

As soon as Jin, Kazue, Yusuke and Sora said their piece, Hiroyuki finally picked up the situation. He quickly grabbed his bag and bowed to his friends.

"Thank you for your hard work. I'll be going."

With that, Hiroyuki ran off to his destined place.

"Hey Jin," Yusuke called out to him as he pointed at the watch in his hand. "Your watch."

"Huh… guess it's broken."

"That's too bad that it stopped working. It was your grandfather's gift, no?"

Jin, who understood the subtle message left behind by his watch, realized that the empty can of beer was still in his hand. He squished it with his bare hand and tossed it into the trash bag beneath his feet. He then turned his head, looked at Yusuke with relief in his eyes and said with a warm smile.

"Well, it may have stopped for me. But it started for someone else."
