"Are you sure?" Without waiting for her reply, Genny tried to explain her point. "I am not doubting your skills or professionalism, okay? I just thought maybe you could help him faster if I told you a few things."
"I know you are trying to help but trust me, we will be completely fine." Amber didn't understand if she was assuring Genny or herself. Something about Ivan made her feel weird but in a good way.
From the first brief session, she could make out that his thoughts were deep, deeper than she had expected. The pain and uneasiness in his eyes were quite evident, this is why she ended the session early. She didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable and decided to wait for him to open up just like her other patients.
"Okay but as his assistant, I should tell you this. He is a really nice guy though he tries to act like he doesn't care, it's nothing like that. He is a very observant, like really very—"
Cutting her off, Amber remarked, "Yeah I think that is enough."
