Three hours ago...
Upon setting his foot inside of the Kings Royal Hotel and Resort, Aiden seemed to have woken up from his daze. The soles of his shiny black shoes came to a halt inside the otherwise empty but high-class elevator meant for VIP customers. The elevator button for the twentieth floor was lit while Aiden just stared back at his hands and his reflection from the mirror at the back of the elevator.
A rare hint of confusion and disbelief ran through his eyes as he stared at himself. His thoughts are all as going through a similar thought process.
'I really came here for... her?'
'Can she really...'
'I really want… sleep.'
'Ah f*ck! What the hell am I doing?'
While his thoughts ran wild and desperate, the elevator doors closed, smoothly and steadily bringing Aiden to the twentieth floor.
