Chapter 73 - 70. No lies

Kl stopped walking. His steps came to an abrupt stop causing Sophia to bounce back and hit her arm on KL's rock hard chest but neither seemed to care.

KLs thoughts ran wild as he wondered the reasons as to why a drugged person would need to visit an AI when the first thing they needed was treatment!!! She was crazy…

The only two places she could and should be going to were either the medical lab or in the worst case scenario the torure room.

He could not see a situation in which one would need to visit a working place for treatment unless they were going to skip treatment… She wouldn't be so harsh as to do that to that to herself, right?...

Gritting his teeth and restraining his anger, KL forced a word out of his mouth. "Why?"

Sophia blinked away the tears in her eyes that came from the sudden impact of his stop, and spoke out concisely. "For treatment, KL. Don't overthink it. The AI Lab. Now."

KL was shocked to hear her words but he chose to trust her. Taking big steady strides towards the IT and AI lab of Sophia's Labs. Getting inside he gently placed Sophia down on the chair and stepped back, waiting for instructions.

Sophia steadied herself on the chair as best as she could before waving her hand to dismiss KL. "Don't let anyone in. I'll call for you when needed. Stay out until then."

KL hesitated for a second before straightening his back and making his way out. Thinking that he would stop her from her treatment if he wasted time on leaving, KL hurried out of the Labs, leaving Sophia all alone on the big basement floor.

Sophia took a few deep breaths in and out. Her facial expressions were not so pleasant nor was her body as sweat continued to gloss over her fair and milky skin. Her face was flushed red deeper than a cooked lobster. One would really wonder how much blood she had in her body for her face to be so red…

"First Aid kit activated. Miss Luna, please take off your jacket so I can treat your wound."

When Sophia heard the voice she was surprised but more than that she was happy. 'At least the AI worlds…'

A smile formed on Sophia's lips as she stared at the robot with her head down like a psychopath.

"Master, please stop that. You're scaring me." Sachi's voice was flat as though he had no emotions. His words were meant to annoy Sophia and to mock her smile but Sophia only glared at him for a second before turning her attention back to her newly made AI robot.

It was only in its early stages of production but the result was already so good. Sophia was very pleased.

Sophia glanced at the robot and proceeded to take off the jacket with much difficulty. Besides her slightly scrunched face, she barely made a sound as she took off the jacket.

"Ivar."

The robot paused and assumed the position of a servant waiting for orders. "Yes, master."

The smile on Sophia's lips broadened a bit more as she stared at the robot. "What's wrong with me?"

The robot lifted its head and looked at Sophia. It's eyes emitted a light blue light that scanned Sophia from head to toe. "Replying to the master. You have a 3 inch knife wound at the bottom of your ribcage on your left side. It's currently 3 millimeters from reaching your bones. You need immediate treatment, master."

The robot paused before replying once again. "Master, besides the open wound on your ribcage I also sense an abnormal amount of testosterone in your body but no traces of drugs. I don't understand."

Sophia let out a hearty chuckle which made her involuntary hiss from the sudden pain. Sophia was sure of her invention. It was indeed ready.

"Ivar. Start treatment."

"Yes, master." The whirring of the robot started resonating across the room as Ivar started treating Sophia to the best of its ability. Due to the lack of resources for treatment inside the AI lab, Ivar lifted Sophia up and took her to the Medical lab next door and laid her down on the patient lab before starting to work on her wounds.

Disinfecting, stitching, wrapping.

Everything was done at the fastest speed possible. Faster than any medical professionals with better work performance. From the way it was stitched to the wrapping everything was very professional.

It was very much expected from Ivar.

After All, this was only the basics that it was designed to do. This was also the easiest job that it could possibly have. More than doing therapy using words and algorithms to understand human emotions, something that was ever so complicated to understand by AI, doing things based on facts and logic was much easier.

To treat a wound there was only one correct way to do it and that was doing it as fast as possible and with the best results. When doing it with human hands there were always numerous factors that could affect the result of the process no matter how professional they were because we were all humans and mistakes were inevitable. However, with Ivar this was not the case. It was designed to be steady and swift in its actions, so everything was done perfectly to the max if not better.

Since the purpose of Ivar was to treat Rohan, Sophia only asked basic questions to Ivar during her treatment. She had faith in her work and algorithm and on Ivar who was created to grow with its knowledge everyday like a little child.

Ivar would do its job best if it knew little about therapy and more about life and living like a human. The past 12 hours was more than enough for it to absorb the human life of the last half a decade. By the time Rohan was introduced to Ivar, everything else would already be into his system. Living like a regular robot that understands more than a regular robot was what would help Rohan out of his trauma.

Sophia was very confident in this aspect because it was a robot and not a human. No matter how much she hated to say this, it was the truth after all.

Humans were not reliable.

No matter who or what not everything was set in stone so factors in humans was greater than in robots.

Using a human therapist to aid in Rohan's recovery was the same as giving him a death sentence. How could one heal when the healer was the same as the person who gave him trauma in the first place?

A robot that was neither male nor female. A robot that could keep a secret better than a human… no unknown factors just facts. Rohan needed it.

Truth.

No lies, no truths wrapped in lies.

Just the truth.

Ivar was going to give him the truth. No lies.
