Getting back to the apartment, Sophia was greeted by a clean and shiny apartment. With her takeout dinner in hand, Sophia entered her room and turned on the laptop to do some dirt searching on the Grey family.
It had only been three f*cking days since she was here and the things they did to give her trouble was enough to land them in hell a million times.
They landed Lillian in the hospital then injected her with metal so that she needed a 200K surgery. They even went as far as trying to destroy her future by drugging her and then spreading the news while Luna was trying to earn money!
To think that they even dared to play dirty and destroy Rohan mentally and physically all the while traumatizing Luna? Did they think her sugar mommy instincts were for nothing? That she was that easy to bully? Even if she was 'Luna Grey' right now, she was still Sophia and to her, both were two different people until she acted as Luna.
The Grey family would've had a higher chance of survival had they just stood by, but no. They f*cking kidnapped runaway girls and sold them off. Many of them were drugged and had their eggs sold off every month. She had encountered sixteen girls in that one batch.
Knowing her instincts, she just knew that there were countless other girls who had either been killed or are still going through torture.
Since she had her sights on the Grey family for traumatizing Rohan, meeting the girls last night only fueled her desire to destroy the Grey family.
An evil and sly smile broke out at the corner of her lips as she typed away on her laptop, finding concrete evidence for the Grey family's crimes. Even when she moved away to take a bite of food, the evil and sinister aura around her didn't fade away.
Sachi who was crouching at the side of the laptop finally decided to speak up. "Master, must you do this?"
Gulping down the food in her mouth, Sophia put on a justified expression. "Of course! They tortured Lillian and Rohan! They are so evil. They deserve to die! I should help."
Sachi stared at her seemingly innocent face and he felt his eyes twitch. Turning his head to the side, he muttered under his breath. "You sure know how to justify your urge to do something evil."
Sophia had heard his words but she just ignored it and with an even brighter smile, she continued to type away on her laptop deep into the night.
The next morning, Sophia didn't go for a run. Instead, after having a quick breakfast at a breakfast stall, she left for District 35 on her 'delivery' motorbike.
Last night when she was digging up dirt, she searched very carefully. From the people they had connections with to their business partners and enemies, Sophia knew them all.
If she were an employee at Grey Corporation, the things she learned last night was enough to properly betray Grey Corporation or become the biggest shareholder very easily.
Unfortunately, they decided to go up against her. Don't you just love it when fools try to brag about their little achievements? It's always fun to see their face turn black after they were proven wrong! Sophia couldn't help but smile coldy when she thought of what was to come.
Grey Corporation's biggest competitor and enemy in their line of business was a company called Five Brothers Corp, located in District 35 on Waterfield Street.
Selling them sensitive information on Grey Corporation would give her more benefits than destroying Grey Corporation herself. That was because she could bargain with the information she dug up last night. To her, it was just some concrete proof of their wrongdoings that she didn't really need because she was going to destroy them either way.
However, she couldn't do that. As of right now, she couldn't join Sugar Honies for the safety of the people around her and the possibility that she might die very soon and leave this world for good. Also, even if her computer skills were good, she didn't dare bet on the fact that no one would betray her and expose her identity as the person who destroyed Grey Corporation.
She wouldn't take the risk because it was too troubling hence she decided to gain some benefits while destroying the Grey family all together. That was hitting three birds with one stone. Why wouldn't she want it?
She had left the apartment at seven so by the time she made it to Five Brothers Crop in District 35 it was already eight-thirty. She had thirty minutes to do whatever before Mr. Kinnely, the CEO of Five Brothers Corp, arrived in his office.
Sophia just dropped by a convenience store and bought a few candies before waiting near the entrance of the tall office building for Mr. Kinnely to arrive.
At nine o' clock, a black BMW that was worth more than half a million dollars arrived at the entrance. Sophia had known it was Mr. Kineely after glancing at the license plate. Highly ranked employees had already gathered at the entrance to welcome the CEO a few minutes prior. Who else would they be welcoming in such a grand manner so early in the morning besides the CEO?
As the secretary opened the door, Mr. Kinnely gracefully got out of the car. His fingers nimbly buttoned up his black blazer while his eyes scanned across the numerous employees that had gathered to welcome him.
Just as he was about to walk inside the building, Sophia walked up to the crowd. Standing around a meter away from him, she spoke in a clear and crisp voice. "Mr. Kinnely. May I have a word with you?"
Hearing her clear and melodic voice, the CEO turned around and glanced at her. Dressed in black workout leggings with pockets and a white shirt, she had her ink black hair tied up and a black mask covering her face.
Confusion marred his face as he raised his brows and stared at this young lady who dared to walk up to him without any hesitation. "Miss, do I know you?"
Sophia smiled under the mask and shook her head slightly. "No, you don't." Mr. Kinnely nodded his head. Since he didn't know her there was naturally nothing for them to talk about hence he was about to turn around and leave when he heard her voice.
"Mr. Kinnely, we should talk."
Her words weren't a suggestion nor was it soft. It seemed as though she knew he would be interested in whatever she was going to say hence he decided to give it a try. Afterall, there was no harm in trying out things.
When he turned around and faced her as though urging her to speak, Sophia was very pleased with her decisions. He was indeed a gentleman.
Just as she was about to speak, Mr. Kinnely's phone notification rang.
"Oh my. Please feel free to check your phone, Mr. Kinnely. I wouldn't want you missing something very important!" Her words made Mr. Kinnely look at her suspiciously. Her words seemed to be hinting at something.
When he excused himself and opened the phone, he realized why he had that feeling. From the words alone, he knew that the message was from this young lady in front of him, however he hadn't seen her with her phone. Did someone else send the message for her?
Whatever it was, he knew that he needed to have a word with this young lady. "Miss, please come with me. We can have a talk upstairs after I get something settled. Is that alright with you?"
Sigh… Businessmen were so good at lying through their teeth. However, Sophia didn't mind. She nodded her head after which Mr. Kinnely decisively turned around and started walking.
Under the curious and jealous gazes of the numerous employees, the masked Sophia made her way into the building behind the CEO.
