''What are you guys doing?'' Inayah stood up and shook her head. She started going closer. ''Gideon, don't stand there. It's dangerous.''
''Go back, Inayah. Don't come closer.''
''Samantha, what are you doing?'' Inayah asked as she looked at them two of them.
When Samantha saw that Gideon was distracted, she tried to snatch the phone away and in the process pushed Gideon and his body shook, making him almost fall down.
''Gideon…'' Inayah rushed forward and held his hand as he fell down. She turned to Samantha and pleaded. ''Samantha help me.'' At that moment, the alcohol seemed to have dissipated from Inayah's eyes as she held tightly on to Gideon. But, his body weight was weighing her down.
If she made a little mistake, she could end up falling along with him down the storey building.
''Why should I help him? This is exactly where I wanted you. Scared and helpless and defenceless.'' Samantha said and dialled the district police number.
