Emelia opened her eyes and saw Ben and Bertha sitting by her side. She cleared her throat and they turned to look at her.
''You're awake?''
''Sister Emelia, how do you feel?''
''What happened to me?''
''You don't remember what happened?'' Ben asked her before helping her to sit.
''No. I don't remember anything'' Emelia looked at her wrist and asked, ''I got hurt?''
''You passed out in the kitchen. My brother saw you in a pool of blood and your wrist was slit''
''What happened in the kitchen? Why are you hurt?''
''I don't remember anything, Ben. I only remember holding a knife to cut some vegetables'' Emelia replied with an eanest expression.
''You didn't cut yourself with the knife, right?'' Ben asked. At this moment, he was skeptical about Emelia's mental health.
