"Love, will you please hold my hand?!" I hissed in annoyance. He always keeps on walking continuously, completely forgetting that he has a girlfriend with her. Great boyfriend, huh.
"Oh, right. Here I come then, my love. I was just kidding," he approached toward my direction and clasped our hands together, tightly intertwined.
Whilst we both walk along the seashore, my attention suddenly roamed around the beach. A whole big island. Beside the walkway are rows of pine trees and cottage houses, they're all pure white and were covered up with tiny blinking LED lights. Another thing that makes the whole resort even prettier is the night sky that was covered with the dust of stars, with the moon paving the way. I can't even process that this kind of island ever exists because of how magical it looks.
We're now in the middle of the big island. The surrounding are now getting darker. I reckon it's past 7 in the evening, for we just finished having dinner at our cabin. The whole place was still lit up by the twinkling LED lights placed around the pine trees. It actually felt like it's already Christmas in here even though it's still February. I supposed they recycled all these kinds of stuff, hmm? Never mind.
You like it here, love?" He asked, locking his eyes on mine as we sat together on the wood benches near the shore.
"No, I actually didn't like it," I teased, turning around acting irritated as I crossed my arms to make it more credible.
"B-but why?" I almost chuckle. Did this silly actually believed my acting? You know that I can make it to Oscars awardee when his voice cracked and almost tear up with what I just said.
I just giggled because of how cute he responds. I turned around to face him. "I don't like it, because I love it here! I really do, love," I said, lightly kissing him on his cheeks. "Thank you so much for bringing me here. You really know how to make me happy, don't you? Just look at those stars, you know that I adore them so much, right?" I explained to assure him that I am truly this grateful.
"Oh, well of course I do, my love," he uttered, staring straight at me. "You know that we're together for almost ten years and all of the places you liked and all the things you are fond of are completely written inside my head and my heart," he mouthed the last word as he put his hands over his chest. "So I can always make you happy," he added, as he cup my face.
A tear from my right eye slipped, as I close my eyes and woke up when my best friend Kelly pinched my nose.
W-what the?" I said in complete shock. I gently rubbed my nose because it feels like burning. "I hope you're aware how much that hurts, Kelly?" I complained then turned my eyes heavenward.
I didn't manage to ask the guy's name. Yes, that guy who constantly visits my dream for the last three days.
"Aria Ventura, I hope you're aware too that today is the starting of our last academic semester and we're nearly graduating, but your darn body is still comfortably lying on that bed. What do you call that, huh? Beauty rest? Then you might wanna have beauty rest every single day and not graduate at all." She continuously exclaimed in a calm, but irritating way. No stopping and now, she's completely out of breath.
"What time is it then, Kelly?" I said, yawning as I spread and stretched up both of my arms, still processing everything Kelly said.
"7:30." she then curved her brows at me and placed her hands at her waist side-by-side.
"What?!" I replied, rushing towards the bathroom. I immediately took off all of my clothes and opened the shower the moment I removed all of them. The water falls all through my body, waking my sleeping senses.
