Chapter 2
"You need not worry; the child is just scared. Due to the shock, he experienced he again fainted. When he wakes up be with him. All the tests and scans tell he is perfectly fine and healthy. But after he gains consciousness, we should keep him under observation."
After what the doctor told, Daniel's parents sighed in relief.

After a couple of hours, Daniel slowly regained consciousness. Well…this time he didn't show he woke up. He wanted to analyse what kind of situation he is in right now.
By the time he woke up, it was already morning.
Daniel could feel someone holding his hand. When he saw who it was, it was the beautiful women who held him before he fainted. She seems to have fallen asleep.
At the edge of his view, he saw a man sleeping while sitting on the sofa.
When he observed the room, it seems to be a VIP ward but there seems to be a bit old fashioned.
He didn't know why, but when he saw both the women and man suddenly, he felt his heart warm up. That's when noticed their faces.
"Asian?"
They looked Asian. He didn't have any idea what kind of situation he was in.
Daniel then started to analyse all the new memories he had in his head.
There were two sets of memory. The first one was how he got here inside a kid's body and the second all the memories of the kid.
When he learned how he got here, he was speechless.
In his previous 21st century life he had a car accident and died, after that his soul got inside the kid.
But this the part which made him speechless.
It seems he was dead intentionally, it like he was a sacrifice.
Well…the world was about end, but no when knew about it. For the world to survive someone had to die and that someone was him.
To know how he becomes that someone, well…the sacrifice, we should know about Daniel's past.
He was an orphan; he grew up in an orphanage. From childhood till his death, he had no sense of belonging to the world. His only goal was to live a life for the sake of living.
He was a genius. He put all his savings he got from part-time into the stock market and bam! He got rich in just a year or two and all of this happened when he was in his 20.
After that he became a college dropout, he was born to be a businessman. He went full time into this.
After he got rich, he became a typical otaku because he didn't have any sense of belonging to the world and just like that when he was 28, he becomes a millionaire. He was like an investor like Warren Buffett.
But the thing is he has little to no connections to people.
He didn't even have a friend.
He was a lone wolf and due to his otaku life, he didn't bother to find any girlfriend. A 28-year-old virgin guy.
What a shame.
Just when he was drifting into a void with no sense of belonging, he came across a golden pocket watch.
When he saw it, he felt like it was calling his soul. For the first time in life, he got a feeling of desire.
He wanted the pocket watch no matter what.
After he got the watch, on his way home he met with an accident and died and the reason for his death was the pocket watch.
It isn't some normal watch; it seems to have supernatural powers. The world was about end, for the world to not end the watch will pick a person. In exchange for the life of the person, the world will not encounter the catastrophe and survive.
Like this Daniel become the best candidate for the watch who had no sense of belonging to the world.
Daniel wanted to cry when he learned this, it seems no one asked about his opinion.
But the watch was not unfair… to compensate Daniel, he was given a new life with a family and a sense of belonging to the current life and world.
He couldn't ask for more. Practically the watch filled the void inside of him.
And in the end, Daniel will have things that he didn't have in his previous life like a family and a desire to live his life.
This is part of the watch's deal.
Daniel suddenly became excited; he was looking forward to his new life.
Now let's focus on what happened to the kid.
'What the heck!'
He was confused when he first read the kids memories, it seems that he was the kid which is simply confusing.
The watch put his soul in sleep for nearly 5 years inside the kid's body.
The kid's name is Lee Gon, he is 5 years old. From the day he was born and till the present day, he didn't have any emotions. He was like a robot but in flesh.
This is because the soul of the kid which is the soul of Daniel is under sleep.
The thing is his parents were worried about him, they went to many doctors and hospital's but none were able to treat him.
They believed one day God will have mercy on them and heal their child.
Even though the kid didn't show any emotions, all the love and emotions of the kid were present but they were inside of his soul- inside of Daniel's soul which was under sleep.
The watch put him to sleep because when he wakes up, he won't be an infant but a 5-year-old boy. Which will make it easy for him to adapt to his new body and life.
After Daniel learnt this, he wholeheartedly accepted his new life, identity and family.
"From now on I am Lee Gon, I will embrace my new life and show the love and care my parents deserve. I will leave behind my old self and start my life from this day onwards. He will live a life with no regrets."
